The hinge is still sunken and has a more comfortable angle when typing. In addition, the heat dissipation outlet of the new notebook seems to have been changed from the hinge to the left.
The new Zenbook 14 notebook features a 14-inch 2.8K 16:10 screen with 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio and 0.2 millisecond pixel response time, a 90 Hz refresh rate, up to 550 nits of peak brightness, and a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. The new Zenbook 14 A is made of aluminium alloy, with a thickness of 16.9 mm and a weight of 1.4 kg.
In terms of configuration, the UX3402 model is available up to an i7-1260P CPU and up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, while the AMD-based UM3402 model is equipped with a Ryzen 7 5825U processor and up to 16 GB of LPDDR4X memory.
In terms of interfaces, the Intel model has two Thunderbolt 4 ports with 40 Gbps DisplayPort mode, while the AMD model has two USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports.
Asus has said that the new Zenbook 14 notebook will be available in the second quarter of 2022, starting at 999 euros (about 7202.79 yuan). At present, ASUS has not announced the exact time to market for the new Lingyao 14 notebook.
