Let's take a look at the M1 Ultra chip first. Apple claims that the chip combines the two M1 Maxes into one through a custom package architecture called UltraFusion, giving the all-new M1 Ultra chip a total of 20 CPU + 64 core GPUs and supporting 128GB of uniform memory.

The memory bandwidth has increased to 800GB/s, and Apple says the M1 Ultra has eight times the overall performance of the standard M1 chip. Apple has clearly taken its modular chip design to the extreme, with last year's M1 Pro equivalent to twice the M1 performance. The M1 Max is equivalent to 4x the performance of M1, and today the M1 Ultra brings 8 times the performance of the M1.
The M1 Ultra will debut in the all-new Mac Studio desktop. This is a brand new device that Apple has built for the M1 Ultra chip, and it has a design similar to the appearance of the previous Mac mini. But overall taller, the Mac Studio boasts a 3.7-inch high, 7.7-inch wide and long body trim.
The front panel has two USB-C ports and an SD card slot, and the back has four Thunderbolt connectors (USB-C), two USB Type-A, one 10 Gigabit Ethernet, one HDMI, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a power button.
In terms of performance, Mac Studio's CPU performance (M1 Max) leads the 16-core Intel Xeon chip by up to 50%. GPU performance is 3.4 times higher than the AMD Radeon Pro W5700X unique display on a 27-inch iMac. Apple says the M1 Ultra is 60 percent faster than the 28-core Mac Pro. GPU performance leads the Radeon Pro W6900X by 80%. It can be equipped with up to 8TB of SSD, meeting the needs of any professional user for storage space.
In addition to the console, Apple has also released a brand new display, named the Studio Display display. The stand supports up to 30° pitch adjustment. The exterior features a full-screen design with a narrow bezel design and a screen size of 27 inches.
With a brightness of 600 nits and a pixel density of 218 PPI, studio display has an A13 bionic chip built in. Like the Pro Display XDR, Studio Display has an option of nano-textured glass.
The screen features a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera complemented by a studio-grade microphone array. Built-in six speakers (4 low frequencies + 2 high frequencies) with support for Spatial Audio spatial audio technology.
