E Studio One Design was invited to cooperate with KClighting to design its global flagship showroom in the lighting capital of China, and One Studio also hopes to take this opportunity to try to break through the inherent definition of traditional retail lighting, repeatedly deliberate on the essence of commercial space, and create a new future retail experience, through the form of science and technology art, to convey our vision to the world. Inspiration and connection at the beginning we first think about what it feels like to want people to enter the space, there is a sense of withdrawal when entering the space, it is possible to strongly feel the theme of "reality and fantasy", intuition is that it should not be too complex and curved, the column is the vertical main structural part of the building, around the column to divide the space, the column is no longer isolated, but forms a hard block surface, it is simple enough to belong to both the past and the future. The entrance enters from one side, and on the other side is a large floor-to-ceiling glass observation window, which can interact with the robotic arm through the induction on the glass, bringing emotional touch, thus creating a certain degree of connection with this space. The switch between the digital world and the real world, the moment when two completely separated worlds meet, provides the audience with an emotional experience beyond imagination.
Luminaire display table, a variety of luminaires displayed on the desktop, can be operated by the button of the light switch, the center of the display table is a mechanical arm, it is programmed to demonstrate the disassembly and assembly of luminaire parts, it is programmed to make it look like a human gesture, when there is a visitor, it will dance, and the indoor lights to generate induction.
The sturdy black square box presents a very sculptural expression: we wanted to interact with the exhibitors with KClighting's products inside the black square box in the real space, using HOLOLENS as our mixed reality output device, and be able to display interactive projection works/mixed reality installations. The lighting changes, the choice of tone and rhythm depends on the current scene use, for example during the use of the concert, the lighting is dim, some of the furniture elements and extra benches can be easily moved .....
The visitor's experience is embedded in the immediate artistic experience, the passage is like an exhibition space for painting, sculpture and video art, and before entering the passage, a coffee area is set up, and the stone and original concrete columns combine the old and new designs, emphasizing the architectural details and material contours.
13 Shirleys: Illusions of Reality Is one of those rare art treasures that cannot be categorized, Austrian filmmaker, architect and experimental artist Gustav Deutsch's first live-action film, Shirley: A Vision of Reality. The film recreates 13 paintings by Edward Hopper, depicting thirty years of American history through the unfolding life of the protagonist Shirley, a fictional red-haired actress who responds with the same enthusiasm to the socio-political changes that take place around her and her own private affairs, visually sharing the characteristics of the painter's work: bright colors, strong diagonals, bright lights, and huge empty windows, suggesting the larger world outside and all its hidden possibilities.
The lighting design of the exhibition space can be very challenging, very important for accurately displaying the color of the objects displayed, which is very important for the artwork, and can provide visitors with better visual comfort so that they can see the exhibits clearly, in addition to having the highest CRI (color rendering index), maintaining the integrity of the artwork and ensuring that the visitor enjoys the best conditions to hide the luminaire. The sense of line enriches the simple conceptual abstraction of the body, which is both functional and aesthetic needs, and the magnetic track meets the flexible display of different lamps.
Different groups of scholars, artists, designers, etc. come together to build in the same environment, creating synergies, as well as a sense of community that contributes to the development of the community. Materials such as concrete, black wood finishes and stone constitute the basic tone of the building, and the one pays attention to the visual and emotional experience brought by the space, opposes the material stacking decoration without thinking and creativity, and emphasizes the spirit of innovation and design value.
