After nearly two years, Mobao has launched their ultra-thin mechanical keyboard product BK75 Bluetooth dual-mode mechanical keyboard. On this new Mobao product, it is equipped with a mechanical low shaft launched by TTC, which is matched with a pair of gradient-free low keycaps, and there are also side RGB light strips. On this small body board, it not only takes into account the light and portable, but also has a certain lighting effect playability.

In the strategy of wireless connection, the BK75 only chose Bluetooth connection, although the bottom of the fuselage does make room for a receiver storage compartment. Only instructions, warranty cards, and a USB-C cable are shipped in the accessory.

Mobao BK75 dual-mode wireless mechanical keyboard as a whole adopts ultra-thin design, the three-dimensional size is 352x119x29mm, the standard 87 key arrangement, the suspension shaft structure, the upper cover adopts a metal panel, after sandblasting treatment, the touch is relatively smooth. Although it is an 87-key column, its F-zone is completely close to the letter area, and the position layout is more compact than that of a conventional 87-key keyboard. Its FN key combination layout is also elaborate, choosing to place several commonly used multimedia (pause/play) on the F9 to F12 positions. It is worth mentioning that BK75 supports custom recording lighting modes, up to 4 groups of custom lighting effects. The upper right of the arrow keys is a through bar indicator, and the position is on the right, if you can swing directly above, the sense of violation is estimated to be much smaller.

Both sides of the fuselage have added an RGB strip, which has been seen on GK81, but GK81 is a wrap-around design, the role is similar, relying on this strip to enhance the overall RGB atmosphere and increase recognition. The BK75 also has a 2300mAh lithium battery tucked into this slim body. The base is a conventional plastic shell, because of the built-in battery, so there is a small inclination, but still does not support the height of the foot support adjustment.

Its low keycap specifications are quite different from the previous ultra-thin keyboards, the surface area is very large, the keycaps and keycaps are next to each other, the gap is relatively small, almost flat on the keyboard. The increased surface area will make the fingertip perception of the upper key more obvious, there is a chance of accidental touch, and the RGB light may be affected. Because there is a skin-like coating, the coefficient of friction is large. The characters are engraved with a radium in the center of the keycap, directly above the lamp position.

TTC's hybrid low shaft performs very well on the BK75, with a total stroke of 3.2mm, a conduction stroke of 1.5mm, a conduction pressure of 50gf, and a paragraph stroke of 1.2mm, which has a similar paragraph feeling to the conventional green shaft, but the "Click" sound is cleaner and fuller due to the torsional spring sound structure. Shaft core stability is much better than similar dwarf shafts, and there is almost no noise when pressed. The BK75's big key hard and crisp bottom really restores the feel of TTC's dwarf green shaft, and the tuning is good. Not surprisingly, this shaft body uses a cross shaft core, but the compatibility of OEM keycaps is not perfectly supported, it can be used, but the bottom will hit the panel. If you have to change the keycaps, it is recommended that the OEM height is below.

BK75's Bluetooth connection is slightly cumbersome, first need FN + Tab to switch to Bluetooth mode (the same reason you need to switch wired mode also need to perform the same operation), then FN + E / R / T select the Bluetooth channel, and finally FN + Q for Bluetooth pairing. After the keyboard is connected to the device, if it is not operated within 10 seconds, the backlight will be automatically turned off, and if it is not operated for 10 minutes, it will enter sleep. In addition, you can check the battery level through FN+Alt, about 99% of the battery is green, 60% of the battery is blue, and 30% is red. The delay in Bluetooth mode is about 0.2s, and the stability is no problem, whether it is connected to a PC or a mobile phone, a tablet. In terms of battery life, due to the battery capacity of only 2300mAh, under the maximum brightness of the full opening of the lights, according to personal usage habits, it is almost a day.

The lamp is a highlight of the BK75, literally. Thanks to the word transparency, its lighting effect has not been covered up too much. Keys such as FN+Home/End can be controlled separately from the side RGB strip.

In the same type of dual-mode products, the BK75 priced at 459 has added two RGB atmosphere light strips to the slim and portable body, which has excellent recognition and appearance. And this keyboard pays more attention to the input experience, so the combination of the touch of the keycap and the TTC hybrid low shaft has played a good chemical reaction, which is very suitable for users who have requirements for the size and feel of the three circumferences.
