  1. Eight Harmony Hall, Hong Kong, China

In 1953, the Hong Kong Bahe Association was registered in Hong Kong on the basis of the Hong Kong Branch of the Guangdong Bahe Cantonese Opera Professional Trade Union (Bahe Association), and was organized as a group of Cantonese opera workers in Hong Kong. The first president of the new horse division Zeng. After the establishment of the Hong Kong Bahe Association, it successively established its subordinate institutions such as Pufu Hall (Cantonese Opera Musicians Association, that is, the Music Department of the Guild Hall), Shen He Tang (the Clan Affairs Department), Luan Youtang (also known as the Martial Arts Group), Hopewell Hall (costumes and props), and the Hong Kong Eight Harmony Cantonese Opera Academy.

Since the emergence of the Guangdong local drama class, it has close contacts with Hong Kong, just like one. As a Cantonese opera guild, Guangdong Bahe Guild has long taken into account and represented many affairs of its peers in the Cantonese opera industry in Hong Kong, and has been taken for granted. In 1953, in response to changes in the times, Hong Kong registered and established the Hong Kong Bahe Guild Hall, which became a group organization for local Cantonese opera workers, continued to perform guild duties, and independently handled relevant drama affairs. According to the late veteran class politician Huang Yan recalled: In the early 1950s, the Hong Kong Eight Harmony Association was conceived and established, and the new Horse Master proposed that the Cantonese opera community in Hong Kong should unite and carry forward the tradition and spirit of the Eight Harmony, and specially invited Fang Yanfen to invite all the celebrities to attend the meeting and organize the association in the local area. At that time, Fang Jie was supported by a wide audience in Hong Kong, and the elders also respected her attitude towards people and things; when Fang Jie dai Xiang Ge lobbied, many famous people such as the fifth brother Xue Juexian, the eldest brother Ma Shi Zeng and Ouyang Jian, Ban Ri'an, Liang Cibo, Ren Jianhui, Bai Xuexian, Yu Lizhen, etc. all responded and came to Fang Jie's house for a meeting to discuss and decide on the establishment of the Hong Kong Eight Harmony Guild Hall. Sister Fong also generously donated a residential unit on Po Lan Street, Mong Kok, Kowloon, Hong Kong, as the permanent site of the Hong Kong Ba Wo Association. Huang Yan believes that Fang Jie is the "hero" of the founding of the Hong Kong Eight Harmony Association. In anticipation, Fang Yanfen was elected as the permanent honorary president of the Hong Kong Bahe Association, and in April 1992, the "Fang Yan Fen Hall" was established in the Hong Kong Bahe Association. The successive presidents (chairmen) of the Hong Kong Eight Harmony Association are: New Ma Shi Zeng, Kwan Tak Sing, Ho Fei Fan, Leung Shing Po, Ma Ping Wing, Huang Yan, Kwan Hai Shan, Ma Guo chao, Wang Ming Tsuen and Chen Jiansheng. In 2007, Wang Mingquan was re-elected as the 33rd Chairman, with about 1,000 members. Over the past 50 years, Hong Kong Bahe Association has done a lot of useful work in inheriting the tradition of Cantonese opera, updating artistic performance techniques to expand new audiences, cultivating a new generation of successors, and communicating and connecting with peers in the Cantonese opera industry at home and abroad, which has been recognized, supported and praised.

Cantonese opera cantonese opera has such a broad mass base that it is worth being proud of.

  3. Singapore Eight Harmony Hall

 6. San Francisco (West Of America) Eight Harmony Hall

Founded in 1990, the first chairman of the Club was the predecessor of Cantonese opera, Huang Chaowu, who was known as the "Wenwu Taidou", and the vice chairmen Li Qian and Chen Yannong. Huang Chaowu proposed to the disciples of Bahe, "Think of the source of drinking water, and never forget the original" as the code of conduct for the Meixi Bahe Guild Hall.

According to historical records, as early as the middle of the 19th century, a large number of Guangdong nationals came to California to act as gold mine coolies or participate in the construction of railways. Most of them live in the Area of San Francisco's Chinatown, known as "San Francisco", and then Cantonese opera classes have come to perform, and watching drama has become the only cultural and recreational activity in the Chinese artificial surplus here. At that time, the Cantonese opera class artists were proud to be able to perform in "Jinshan", and after returning to China, they all named their stage names with the word "Jinshan", such as: Jinshanhe, Jinshanzhen, Jinshanbing and other talents appeared in the art world. At the end of the 1930s, the Shengshou Nian class led by Liang Shaojia and Liang Cibo came to the United States to perform, and toured Honolulu, San Francisco, New York and other places respectively, which lasted for three and a half years, and became a good story in the Art Circle of Shenzhou.

Before and after the founding of New China, for certain political reasons, the United States did not issue opera visas, and overseas Chinese had no intention of watching the drama, and for a considerable period of time Chinatown stopped performing Cantonese opera. In 1952, the Great China Theater in San Francisco Hired Wen Wusheng Chong TianFeng from Hong Kong to shoot performances such as Liu Mei Hua Dan Ying Liming, Wen Hua Mei, Suzhou Li and other performances, and performed in San Francisco for more than a year. In the following years, the opera art group performed in the United States for eight days a month, and also did opera celebrations and congratulations for local Chinese. In 1957, in order to unite the industry and gather friendship, these artists urgently needed a place to worship Master HuaGuang, so they raised funds to rent a venue in Chinatown as a venue for networking activities. The venue is located at JASOM COURT, which is known as "Thirteen and a Half". The first members are: He Yinglian, Suzhou Li, Peony Su, Wen Huamei, Huang Chaowu, Zhou Kunling and dozens of other people, "Thirteen and a Half" naturally became a guild of San Francisco drama people gathering.

With the gradual improvement of Sino-US relations, Guangdong Cantonese opera groups have been increasingly performing in the United States, and overseas Chinese audiences have greatly appreciated their skills. After China's reform and opening up, the famous Cantonese opera actors Lin Xiaoqun and Bai Chaohong in Guangzhou, and The Hong Kong red lingers Lin Shaofen and Yan Haitang moved to San Francisco, USA, injecting new elements and vitality into the local art scene and creating a new scene for Cantonese opera in Chinatown. With their artistic charm, they have attracted a group of Cantonese art lovers, and have a wide influence on the Chinese community in San Francisco through different ways to teach and promote Cantonese opera.

In 1989, the lease of "Thirteen and a Half" expired, and colleagues in the industry wanted a permanent place to worship Master Huaguang, and there was a fixed organization for artists, so they negotiated the establishment of the Eight Harmony Guild. Soon, a basement was found in SACRAMETO as a new meeting place. In 1990, with the recognition and support of the Hong Kong Eight Harmony Association, the American West Eight Harmony Association was officially established, and the disciples of the Eight Harmony were mobilized to perform a grand performance to celebrate the birthday of Hua Guang's ancestors, which shocked San Francisco and made a good name.
