First, the basic description of the project

Bosch Huayu Steering is currently an auto parts enterprise with the largest scale and the highest market share and integrated development and manufacturing of passenger car steering systems in China. Bosch Huayu Steering Systems (Nanjing) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Nanjing Factory") covers an area of about 93,000 square meters and faces customers including Volvo, Changan Ford, Chery Jaguar Land Rover, BMW Brilliance, Beijing Benz, etc.

Bosch Huayu turned to the first Smart Log project, and began preliminary preparation and planning and design in 2019, and is committed to creating an end-to-end lean, agile and intelligent supply chain with full scenario, full connection and whole process integration. The project began to be implemented in March 2020 and was officially launched in March 2021.

The project is divided into three phases into Hikvision robot incubation and fork extraction AMR, the scope of operation covers the production workshop, raw material warehouse, finished product warehouse of Nanjing factory, involving the logistics center raw material storage, quality inspection, turning, sorting, distribution and finished product distribution, storage and other full-process business, to achieve the robot scheduling system RCS-2000 and the user warehouse management system WMS docking, the whole production line seamless switching, to meet the Nanjing factory intelligent material handling and lean production management needs.

Second, the project is innovative

Full SLAM navigation multi-model mixed. In the same channel, the latent and fork-fetching AMR of laser SLAM navigation is used to create a map autonomously in an unknown environment, and the RCS-2000 is dispatched under the same map to achieve multi-model mixed operation. And AMR can autonomously avoid obstacles in complex environments, and the positioning accuracy is up to the millimeter level.

Multi-vehicle collaboration relay operation. Fork-take AMR takes the pallet from the roller line and places it on the latent AMR handling cart, and the latent AMR transports the material to the production line, so as to realize the relay operation of forked AMR and latent AMR.

Multi-level protection, safety and stability. AMR complies with CE certification, meets the "SAIC Group AG General Safety Standards", front laser obstacle avoidance, front/rear collision bar detection, front/rear emergency stop button, rear infrared/TOF and other multi-level safety protection.

Multi-system interconnection, high-precision docking. The robot control system RCS-2000 seamlessly connects with WMS, and realizes the high-precision connection between AMR and a variety of automation equipment such as vertical libraries, roller lines, and robotic arms, and completes the unified scheduling of resources.

Fast deployment Seamless switching of production lines. The project was launched in three phases, realizing seamless switching from manual forklifts to mobile robot AMRs, line-side stacking warehouses to automated three-dimensional warehouses. The deployment efficiency is high, and the user benefit is guaranteed to a large extent.

Third, the influence of the industry

Project revenue

Productivity has increased dramatically. Through AMR, raw materials are automatically distributed to various production lines in the workshop, and the finished products of the production line are automatically put into storage, which greatly improves the distribution efficiency and shortens the batch response time by 15 minutes.

Increase site utilization. The method of "AMR + three-dimensional warehouse" is adopted to effectively utilize the compact space and reduce the storage area by more than 5,000 square meters.

Reduce the intensity of manual work. AmR automatic material distribution is adopted in the whole field, reducing the number of operators by more than 60 people and greatly reducing the intensity of manual operation.

Realize the digital management of warehousing information. The robot control system RCS and the intelligent warehouse management system WMS are seamlessly connected to realize the digital management of warehouse information.

Industry influence and scale demonstration

Bosch Huayu and Hikvision Robots to create the Smart-Log project, which is the first in the industry in the fields of overall integration of the whole logistics process, real-time interconnection of multiple systems, and multi-model full SLAM navigation in complex scenarios, and will be built as a new benchmark for intelligent logistics, promoting Bosch Huayu Logistics to achieve automation, informatization, interconnection and intelligent transformation and upgrading.
