Wei Guo's curriculum vitae
Wei Guo's father, The Qufu clan of Shandong Province, inherited his family's studies and turned to a multi-teacher. Learn the words first and then draw, rich in collection. He graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Capital Normal University. Nearly a decade has devoted himself to the field of contemporary ink art. Currently the dean of the Institute of Contemporary Art Documentation of Shandong Women's University, the works of the Members of the American Dibei Artists Association have been collected by the National Museum of China, the National Library of Belgium and Romania and private institutions.

Our world is a world of serious internalization. It is not so much that Buddhism conquered China as it was that China internalized Buddhism. The bronze art before, the photography and film after that, are all the same. The idea of moderation is deep in the marrow, and we attach too much importance to complete narrative and figurative expression. Apichatpong can only appear in Thailand, and our original experimental music is struggling. Lou Ye cut the movie to pieces, a sound of dissatisfaction, Cai Guoqiang's romance with fireworks, but also had to be implemented into a specific object. In such a solid cultural context, art with abstract or imagery is quite avant-garde. Although the work itself is somewhat tentative, it is inevitably a little childish. But this faltering is itself a definite number. Global vision and root can go hand in hand.

The materiality of Mr. Wei Guo's works fully demonstrates the cultural attributes, and ink painting is both a material and a spiritual residence. The fables of Zhuangzi are both stories and abstract analyses. When looking at his works, it is only necessary to feel, if you go to identify specific objects, where is the mountain, where is the cloud, but it is a thousand miles away from the topic. Wei Guo's works are like ambient music, without Bach's rigorous confrontation and without Toe's mathematical rock weaving. Mazzy Star's music can also make people shake their minds. We don't just focus on the language or technique of Wei's art, but we ignore his pursuit of atmosphere. I am afraid that only in this way can the works on the shelf be able to walk off the wooden shelf (or painting) and complete more dimensions of dialogue. Beyond the faltering, you can walk non-stop.
