On the morning of March 4, the police of the Longchuan Station Police Station of the Huizhou Railway Public Security Department found a boy running away from home while patrolling the station square. After patient persuasion, the police safely handed the boy over to his mother.
At about 10:00 a.m. on the same day, the police of the Longchuan Station Police Station were conducting a safety inspection of the square in front of the station, and suddenly, a boy wearing a school uniform at the entrance of the station attracted the attention of the police: the boy did not carry luggage, nor was accompanied by an adult, and wanted to enter the station but could not show the ticket, and was blocked outside the entrance of the station, looking lost. The police immediately went forward to inquire, and learned that the boy was only 12 years old, a seventh-grade student, and wanted to take a train to Shenzhen to find his father, and his parents and teachers did not know about him.
The police immediately took the child to the duty room and thoughtfully brought him food and water. Under the careful guidance and care of the police, the boy gradually opened his heart and told the police the story behind his run away from home.
It turned out that the boy's father worked in Shenzhen, because of the busy work and the impact of the epidemic, he had not returned home for nearly a year, and even the Spring Festival family could not be reunited. Just the night before, the boy had an argument with his mother over academic problems and was beaten by his mother, which greatly aggravated his miss for his father, so he had the idea of going to Shenzhen to find his father. In the morning, after two classes at the school, the boy took advantage of the class time to deceive the doorman to leave the school under the pretext of buying a pen, and walked to the Longchuan Railway Station on foot, but because he did not bring money and ID card to buy a ticket, he was stopped outside the gate.
However, out of fear of being punished, the boy was always reluctant to inform the police of his mother and teacher's contact information. Therefore, the police searched in many ways, and finally determined the identity of the boy and his mother's contact information by contacting the nearby village committee and school. Subsequently, the police dialed the boy's mother, who had just received a notice from the school and was anxious because her son was missing. After receiving the call from the police and confirming the safety of her son, she was excited and rushed to Longchuan Station with the school teacher.
In the face of the gentle enlightenment of the police uncle, the boy shed tears and sincerely apologized to his mother and teacher, saying that he realized his mistake. The police also communicated with the boy's mother, Ms. Lin, and told her to pay attention to ways and methods to communicate with the child, not to be impulsive, and to pay more attention to his psychological situation, give timely care, and comfort the child's missing father.
After repeated thanks, Ms. Lin returned to school with the teacher and the boy.
