In the interior part, the new car still adopts the latest styling design, using a racing-shaped yoke steering wheel, but the Model S/X model produced after November 2021 provides a physical horn hardware module in the center of the steering wheel. Previously, the model's horn was placed on the touch buttons on the side of the steering wheel, and the driver needed to operate it with his fingers, but this was contrary to the use habits of daily driving.
Interestingly, a new Model X Plaid owner recently said on social platforms that he found that the car used different brands of tires in the front and rear wheels when picking up the car, two of which used Michelin LATITUDE Sport 3 20-inch tires, while the two rear wheels used horse brand Cross Contact LX Sport 20-inch tires.
In terms of tire characteristics, the Michelin LATITUDE Sport 3 pays more attention to the driving characteristics of the road, with better dry wet grip, lower rolling resistance and better durability performance. The tread grooves of the Horse Cross Contact LX Sport are deeper than those of the Michelin LATITUDE Sport 3, taking care of road performance while also taking into account the use of some mildly unpaved roads.
Usually, the same model may be equipped with different brands of tires due to production batch and supplier reasons, but the four tires of the same car should be consistent. Tesla's matching on the new Model X Plaid this time, I don't know whether it is the newly studied tire combination, or there is an assembly error.
