IT House March 3 news, Twitter Twitter has been actively developing new features recently, including 1080p video uploads, long articles and so on. The latest evidence suggests that Twitter will join the podcast industry to compete.
Based on the new information found in the code by trusted whistleblower @Jane Manchun Wong, Twitter will add a microphone icon to the bottom bar with "Podcasts" written on the top title bar.
This feature isn't enabled yet, so it's unclear how Twitter will run their podcasts.
IT House understands that at present, Spotify and Apple are vigorously developing podcast content and launching paid subscriptions. Apple iPhone, Mac, HomePod, Apple Watch and other ecological devices have supported podcasts.
Recent news also said that Amazon and Spotify are considering bidding for podcast service provider Audioboom.
