Imran Khan announced on Feb. 28 that Pakistan would import about 2 million tonnes of wheat and buy natural gas from Russia, according to a bilateral agreement signed between the two sides during an official visit to Moscow last week. Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Imran Khan at the Kremlin on Feb. 24 hours after Russia launched a special military operation against Ukraine.
