Guangzhou Medical Stomatological Hospital, formerly known as Guangzhou Hospital of Yangcheng Railway Corporation of Guangzhou Railway Group, was transferred to the then Guangzhou Medical College (now Guangzhou Medical University) in 2004 to take over.

The data shows that compared with before the establishment of the top three, the construction area of the hospital has increased from 15,000 square meters to more than 38,000 square meters, the total number of employees has increased from 340 to more than 600, and the number of clinical medical technology specialties has increased from 9 to 27. The total outpatient volume of the hospital increased by 1.9 times, and achieved great leaps in medical treatment, teaching, scientific research and other aspects.
Guangyi Stomatological Hospital has taken the lead in Carrying out microscopic restoration, full digital precision treatment, and biological functional full denture restoration in Guangdong Province. Among them, "Standardized Operation of Full Denture Restoration" as a suitable promotion technology project in Guangdong Province has improved the level of full denture restoration in Guangdong Province. At the same time, the hospital carried out the characteristic technologies represented by the digital treatment of dental and maxillofacial deformities earlier in China, and "digital treatment of dental and maxillofacial deformities" and "endoscopic minimally invasive technology for the treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders and salivary stone disease" were the characteristic technology construction projects of Guangzhou.
The hospital has the largest children's oral health science education base in Guangzhou.
Li Jiang introduced that after upgrading the tertiary first-class stomatological hospital, Guangyi Stomatological Hospital will increase investment in clinical high-end equipment to further improve the clinical medical level and improve the quality of medical care services. Guangzhou was the first city in China to pay attention to oral preventive health, and in the 1970s, it was the first to add fluoride to tap water to prevent caries. Located in the central city of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Guangyi Stomatological Hospital will further increase investment in children's oral prevention in the future and improve the oral health index of the population as a whole.
Li Jiang revealed that the hospital plans to build a full-life cycle oral science and technology museum on the basis of the original nearly 300 square meters of popular science oral health education hall this year, using holographic technology and other means to comprehensively display the process of tooth occurrence, development and dental disease development, so that patients and citizens can more intuitively understand oral health knowledge. "Once the Dental Science and Technology Museum is completed, coupled with the Children's Experience Hall, it may become the largest oral health science education teaching base in the country in the future."
