But this is simply nonsense.
Because the Ukrainian issue and the Taiwan issue are fundamentally different, how can the diplomatic contradictions between Russia and Ukraine be compared with the mainland's internal affairs? The United States and the West have repeatedly confused the public opinion, that is, they want to take the opportunity to interfere in China's internal affairs. Now that the flames of war between Russia and Ukraine have burned, the DPP authorities are indeed panicked. However, it is worth mentioning that they have already made a dangerous statement before this, "to shoot the mainland first".
For a long time, the "Taiwan independence" on the island has been quite ignorant of evil, always holding high the banner of "seeking independence through force" and secretly conducting various military exercises on the island. It is reported that they also plan to move the live-fire exercise site directly to dongjin Island, which is only a dozen kilometers away from the coastal city of Chinese mainland in March. Seeing that the war between Russia and Ukraine is so fierce now has further fueled their arrogance and allowed them to find an excuse to frantically instigate such dangerous remarks on the island.
A few days ago, the DPP authorities publicly stated that they "empathize" with the situation in Ukraine. The Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council on the mainland pointed out to the point that the Taiwan authorities' sentiments are completely sentimental, and stressed that they will not have any good end in cooperating with the United States and the West to hype up the Russian-Ukrainian issue, and that "seeking independence by force" will only lead to a dead end in the end. In fact, the recent indifference of the United States toward the Ukrainian side has indeed made the "Taiwan independence" elements on the island a little uneasy, believing that the United States may really be unreliable.
In addition, Ma Ying-jeou also jumped out directly, claiming that the Taiwan authorities should now give up provoking a war with the mainland, believing that the most secure way is to "avoid war and plot peace." In his speech, Ma Ying-jeou also expressed a universal view similar to that of no winner in war. At first glance, he seemed to be right, as if he was softening his attitude toward the mainland, but the details were not the same thing at all.
In fact, Ma Ying-jeou is also using the Russian-Ukrainian conflict to steal the concept this time, what Russia and Ukraine need is indeed peace, and stopping the war can solve the diplomatic problems between the two countries, but the Taiwan Strait issue is different, this is related to China's internal affairs, and his set of "theories of war and peace" is fundamentally untenable and unreasonable. Our goal from beginning to end is to realize China's reunification, and Ma Ying-jeou's so-called "war avoidance plot" is to let the Taiwan region continue to maintain such a situation of cross-strait confrontation and conducive to the "vigorous development" of "Taiwan independence" elements.
Although on the surface they have expressed that they no longer believe in the United States, behind the scenes, they still stand on the same front as the United States, trying to resist Chinese mainland, and now they even vainly try to propagate the so-called "idea of peaceful coexistence" to boil frogs in warm water. In fact, a "dark independence" element like Ma Yingjiu, who hides a needle in a cotton, is even more sinister and cunning. In the face of those radical "Taiwan independence", we can also suppress their arrogance through force deterrence.
In the face of such "secret independence" personnel, we can only identify and remove them one by one, and strive to include all "Taiwan independence" separatists who jump too high into the list of "Taiwan independence" diehards on the mainland like You Xikun and Wu Zhaoxie at an early date, and severely punish them. However, this premise is that those "Taiwan independence" know what to restrain, and if they insist on challenging the "one-China principle," then for the sake of China's sovereignty and territorial integrity, we will not easily tolerate it, and we will certainly take further measures on the Taiwan Strait issue according to the situation. Those "Taiwan independence" must not think that putting forward nonsense remarks about "seeking peace" can divert the mainland's attention.
However, it is worth mentioning that on the 28th, Ukraine finally agreed to hold peace talks in Belarus, and the Ukrainian delegation also arrived at the negotiating site safely before the official start of the talks at 17:00. The mainland has always maintained a clear position in the face of the Russian-Ukrainian issue, that is, to call on all parties to maintain their rationality and try their best to resolve contradictions through dialogue.
After all, once a war breaks out, there really will be no winners, and we can only protect our own interests as much as possible. The reasons for the beginning of the Russo-Ukrainian war are very complicated, but what we are seeing now is the forced touch-to-ground counterattack of Russia after being forced into a desperate situation by the United States and the West.
