For a country with a dualistic ethnic structure like Ukraine, political stability, national unity, and national unity are overriding matters of life and death. Historical experience has repeatedly proved that the key to whether a newly created country on the ruins of the old empire can continue to develop and grow depends on whether it can properly handle the national issue.
However, the rapidly growing Westernized "elites" in Ukraine have done the opposite, and the country's new capitalists are impatient to throw themselves into the embrace of Western capitalism and to integrate and integrate into the Western world, and the most fundamental premise and condition for doing so is to resolutely oppose Russia.
The Western "elites" in Ukraine understand this and do it all, they arrange to handle everything in the country in accordance with the will of the West, and their main political manifestation and performance is pro-American and anti-Russian.
Such political manipulation naturally leads to terrible tears between the nations of the country. The strong anti-Russian tendency is naturally rejected and opposed by the Russian nation in Ukraine, which has led to serious ethnic conflicts and confrontations in the country. It was precisely because of the refusal of Kiev to turn to the West unreservedly that in 2014 there was a rebellion and separation in eastern Ukraine, and only then did there be such a serious division as the collective return of Crimea to Russia.
Sadly, however, the Westernized "elites" in power in Kiev have no intention of repenting and repenting of this, and have not learned the slightest lesson from it, but have continued to run wildly on the road to the West, which can be described as a road running to the black, and by the time of the Zelensky government, they have done more naked and more impatiently to join NATO, which finally led to this disastrous Ukrainian war. The outcome of this war is not yet the end, but it is safe to say that the Ukraine created by the collapse of the Soviet Union has completely ceased to exist. What kind of Ukraine will be in the future depends on what arrangements Putin makes.
Why did Ukraine's Westernized "elite" ruin Ukraine like this?
First, they lack basic political capacity
Don't look at how prominent and foreign-minded these so-called "elites" are, as if how many skills they have learned from their Western teachers and how many true scriptures they have mastered, they are actually just some political straw bales.
Based on Ukraine's historical culture and geographical relations, anyone in power in Kiev must do a good job of relations with ethnic Russians. In order to do a good job in unity with the Russian nation in the country, it is necessary to properly handle state relations with Russia, after all, the Russian ethnic groups in Ukraine, regardless of their place, have been part of Russia in the past, and some of them are even directly the result of the adjustment of the administrative divisions of the Soviet Union, and they have very close ties with Russia in all aspects. Equally important, the whole of Ukraine is also quite closely tied to Russia, which of course needs Ukrainian industrial support, and Ukraine needs Russia's energy and technology support.
However, the Westernized "elites" in Ukraine do not even care about these simple common senses, but instead act politically and completely according to the face of the West, arrange their domestic affairs in full accordance with the will of the West, and vigorously engage in various forms of "de-Russification", with the result that the domestic situation is getting worse and worse, worse and worse, until it is out of control. By the eve of Russia's all-out military offensive, Ukraine was falling apart and torn apart, and Russia's military operations were just a step in the coffin.
Second, they are completely unable to control the strategic situation
Now people often satirize the comedian Zelenskiy, saying that he has turned comedy into a tragedy, or satirizing that he did not know how to act without the script and the director, and that the young man had come home. In fact, Zelenskiy's previous Poroshenko was not like this. Poroshenko once boasted that as long as he was the president of Ukraine, he could get Putin in 6 weeks. As a result, under his reckless operation, Crimea ran away, the eastern Region was divided and independent, and Ukraine was already in jeopardy by then.
Now Zelenskiy has simply taken over Poroshenko's mess. In contrast, he was even more unfortunate, because the strategic situation facing Zelens was unprecedentedly severe, and it was not at all possible for this young man who had no experience and ability to control it.
The first stage of the Ukrainian crisis is Putin's announcement of the withdrawal of troops. The protagonists of this stage are NATO and Russia, which is a contest between NATO led by the United States and Russia, and the result is that NATO has lost. At this time, Zelenskiy's correct approach should be to quickly retreat and hide. However, Zelensky misjudged and NATO retreated, but instead he rushed to the front line and directly confronted Russia, the specific manifestation of which was to make a big move and fight against the eastern Ukrainian region and engage in adventuristic military offensives. The result ended with Putin declaring the independence of the two republics of Eastern Ukraine and sending troops to support them (see the author's article "The Ukrainian Authorities Have Been Confused and Lost"), which is the second stage.
After such a thing happened, Zelenskiy was at a loss, and first called the Western countries to complain for help and form an anti-Russian alliance. Then he called Putin, and he could not get in touch with himself, and also entrusted French President Macron to help contact, asked for dialogue with the Russian president, begged for peace negotiations, acted weak, inward-looking, disorderly, not even a state of emergency, war mobilization, and did not have comprehensive and systematic military and political preparations to resist Russia, as if it was only remembered later. Judging from Zelenskiy's series of performances and performances, the Ukrainian "elite" team in power in Kiev has no ability to control the complex strategic situation, and is basically a bunch of nests.
It should be said that large-scale military operations require long-term planning and preparation, and it is an indisputable fact that President Putin's military operation to launch an all-out attack on Ukraine is by no means a temporary initiative, and the relevant plans have long been on his desk. However, having a plan does not mean that it can become a reality, and grasping the timing of specific actions requires decision-making and changes according to the situation. One might as well imagine that Ukraine would not have been caught off guard by zelenskiy after Putin announced on February 22 that he recognized the two independences of Eastern Ukraine and sent troops, that The whole country had been mobilized, that the previously prepared plan had been implemented, and that the armed forces had prepared for all-out war. As long as Ukraine can hold out for more than half a month, the situation may change drastically, and Russia may be in crisis.
However, the Zelensky authorities were really just taking risks and speculating, and although the fox and the false tiger were quite arrogant and rampant before, they did not prepare for a large-scale war, perhaps the conditions were not met, or perhaps they did not expect it at all, so that when the matter came, it was like a headless fly crashing into the air. In the face of such a nest of waste, the old and spicy Putin naturally looks in the eyes. After a few days of calm and careful observation, he recognized the true nature of Ukraine's vulnerability, so he resolutely launched a full-scale military offensive against Ukraine. As expected, Ukraine collapsed as quickly as possible.
Third, the selfish capitalist clique
Why are the Westernized "elites" who have been in power in Ukraine such a group of Ah Dou stupid?
In fact, to say that they are stupid and stupid is indeed a bit wronged. On the contrary, they are exquisite egoists who are very shrewd in their own small calculations. Essentially, they are ukraine's emerging capitalist upstarts, eager to closely link their capital operations with the Western world, to be seamlessly tied to Britain and the United States, and to build their future destinations for the purpose of the Western world. These unprecedented and urgent demands have driven them to throw themselves to the West desperately and unreservedly, eager to completely convert to the Western world, so they cry and cry and die to ask for NATO membership, as if Ukraine would not be able to survive without this, the country would not be a country, and the so-called Russian threat is nothing more than their excuse and gimmick.
Therefore, they obeyed the command of the West in everything, circled around the baton of the West, willingly acted as agents and puppets of the West, and made a Ukraine, which was superior in all aspects, into a state of ruin and deterioration. Driven by the class nature and interests of these people, what they dream of is their way out and future, not the future and hope of the Ukrainian state and nation. To put it bluntly, these people have kidnapped the state and the nation for their own benefit. As a result, it is well known that the result of desperately trying to join NATO is to push Ukraine into the abyss of disaster.
The deeds of Ukraine's Westernized "elite" ruling will become a classic case in political history, and the implications and enlightenment will be very extensive and profound. For Chinese, the question to ponder is, what are the similarities and differences between China's large and powerful Westernized "elite" contingent and its Ukrainian peers?
It is believed that the essence and nature of these people in China is no different from that of their Ukrainian peers. Based on the characteristics of Chinese history and culture, these people in China may be a little better than those in Ukraine, but they will not be much better. And it cannot but be said that the modern capitalists in China are no more noble than the Ukrainian capitalists.
