As a sport version, the upgrade of the three major pieces is the core value of the F-150 Raptor. In terms of power, the new car is equipped with an EcoBoost 3.5T V6 twin-turbo engine, which has been retuned to a maximum power of 450 hp and a torque of 691 Nm.
In terms of transmission system, the engine is matched by a 10AT transmission, and at the same time, through the enhancement of the powertrain, the maximum towing mass of the new car reaches 8200 pounds, and the maximum loading mass of the cargo compartment reaches 1400 pounds, both of which are 200 pounds higher than the old model.
In the chassis section, the new car has enhanced the rear five-link suspension architecture, fox shock absorbers have up to 24 inches of springs, suspension travel is 14 inches in front and 15 inches behind, so that the ground clearance of the whole vehicle reaches 30cm.
In addition, the new car is equipped with a new TMS terrain management system (seven driving modes) as standard, which can cope with a variety of complex vehicle scenarios through dynamic adjustment of steering wheel steering force, transfer case, vehicle stability control system, active exhaust system, active shock absorption system, throttle response and transmission shift logic.
