At 6:30 p.m., I drove from the county seat to Shazhou Yao Village in Wenming Yao Township with Kuang Jing, director of the county cultural center, calligrapher Zhou Bo, and painter Cao Hui. Along the way, we talked about everything, and they all focused on the deeds of Cao Junping, the protagonist of the civilized participation in the lecture activities, and the deputy director of the Provincial Cultural Center, telling the story of his approach to legend in calligraphy and writing.
More than forty minutes later, we arrived at the Shazhou Yao Nationality Village in the civilized Yao Nationality Township. After a brief contact with Cao Junping in the village, I felt that Mr. Cao was an easy-going, humble, intelligent, unique person with unique insights and a spirit of responsibility.
At eight o'clock, Cao Junping's lecture on the sandbar officially began. In addition to those from the literary and art departments of several counties, there were Zhu Xiangqun, the village secretary of Shazhou Village, some local people, Captain Tan of the Municipal Party Committee's task force in Shazhou, and the staff of the Zhonghui Brigade. In his lectures, Mr. Cao talked about his cultural poverty alleviation work in popularizing and improving calligraphy and writing through articles and video materials. In his lecture, he shared the deeds of fifteen students (apprentices) including Li Yanhong, Yang Wenbiao, and Li Li. In the process of his lectures, he expounded several viewpoints for us: First, rural revitalization, culture first, and culture first is literature and art first, literature and art first or the popularization and improvement of culture, the most feasible and most important thing to grasp is the popularization and improvement of calligraphy and writing; The second is to learn writing and calligraphy, when it is not too late to start, there are grassroots among his students, such as those living at the bottom like Li Yanhong, etc., as well as those living in the upper echelons such as university professors and leaders in Beijing, there are gamblers and local tycoons, under the inspiration of calligraphy and literature, they are all fully devoted to art and baptized in life; the third is the wealth and sublimation of life, and ultimately it is still spiritual, and the ultimate pursuit of people's lives is still inner richness and spiritual wealth.
Mr. Cao's lecture won a round of applause from the audience. After the lecture, the participants had a lively discussion. During the discussion, everyone said that the revitalization of Shazhou Village must make great achievements in cultural revitalization, and it is necessary to set an example and example for the whole province and even the whole country in cultural revitalization. The lecture ended at eleven o'clock in the evening, and everyone reluctantly left the venue. When I left the table, Captain Tan invited me to attend the unveiling ceremony of the Shazhou Cultural Seminar the next day, because I still had to go to the Xianxi Yao Nationality Village in Sanjiangkou Town to continue my work of helping the village, but I regretted that I refused.
On the way back to the county, I thought a lot. As the leader of a rural revitalization support team in Rucheng County, and at the same time the vice chairman of the county literary federation and the chairman of the writers association, I deeply feel that I have a heavy responsibility in rural revitalization, especially in cultural revitalization.
