The Multistrada V4, which went on sale last year, became the best-selling model in the Ducati range and has delivered nearly 10,000 units to customers worldwide to date. Taking advantage of this heat, Ducati released the 2022 model of the Multistrada V4 yesterday, updating the color and configuration.
First of all, the electronic configuration, the main update of the 2022 model model is that the new semi-automatic function of the electronic suspension, which can also be called the minimum preload. This feature lowers the height of the motorcycle, making riding easier and more secure for small riders.
In addition to the minimum preload feature, Ducati will also introduce a new reduction kit in the optional catalog of the Multistrada V4. The kit consists of fork springs, shock absorber springs and side brackets that reduce seat height by 20 mm.
The 2022 model also has an upgraded infotainment system and human-machine interface, but the 2021 model owners can also receive updates. Starting March 15, 2022, Ducati will contact the owners of the older Multistrada V4 through the MyDucati app to complete the update at the Ducati Service Center.
Among the optional items, aluminum side and top boxes designed by the Ducati Style Center and manufactured in collaboration with Givi have a total capacity of 117L (76L side cases and 41L top boxes), with quick-release capabilities, internal linings are also available as accessories, and the lining is made of waterproof fabric with heat-sealed seams and customized with the Ducati Performance logo.
