It is reported that in order to bring a more convenient customs clearance experience to winter Paralympic athletes, Beijing Customs has developed a series of customs "black technology" equipment such as online "blind lanes" for visually impaired people, C-type bases for wheelchair passengers to declare, and self-service declaration and verification machines for disabled passengers.
"We have carefully investigated the needs of the visually impaired and developed differentiated service modules according to the different levels of the visually impaired. The web version of the health declaration develops a font adjustment function for the visually impaired passengers, which can support 2 times magnification. Li Jinwei, deputy director of the Science and Technology Department of Beijing Customs, said, "For passengers with color blindness, we have added the option of color display on the home page, which can be freely selected in the preset foreground and background colors." ”
In addition, the on-site self-service declaration and verification machine has added a voice broadcast automatic opening function, and 2196 voice broadcast data in 12 languages have been stored, which can guide visually impaired athletes to successfully complete health declarations.
For winter Paralympic athletes with limited mobility, the Capital Airport Customs optimizes the intelligent temperature measurement and release channel, reduces the slope, and sets up a special ultra-wide channel for the disabled to make it more convenient for winter Paralympic athletes.
"Taking fully into account the actual needs of winter Paralympic athletes, we have customized the C-type base for the self-service declaration and verification machine for disabled passengers, so that the wheelchair can enter the declaration position smoothly, and added an auxiliary countertop that can be lifted and lowered electrically at the customs clearance site, integrating the camera, scanner, printer and microphone equipment." Yang Bo, deputy director of the Second Travel Inspection Department of the Capital Airport Customs, said that considering that the health declaration time of winter Paralympic athletes may be long, Beijing Customs is also equipped with 18 tablet computers at the airport customs clearance site to facilitate the health declaration of winter Paralympic athletes in the waiting area, achieving "easy declaration and fast customs clearance".
In addition, capital airport customs also provides one-on-one assistance to winter Paralympic athletes in need of help, assists in completing all customs clearance processes, improves customs clearance experience, and shows the good image of China Customs with the highest quality and most convenient customs clearance services.
Beijing Customs expects 13 more flights, nearly 800 winter Paralympic athletes and related personnel to arrive in Beijing on the 26th.
