Zibo Disabled Persons' Federation and Nolai Medical Hospital have successively gone to Zibo Maternal and Child Health Hospital, Shandong Aita Education, Zibo Love Wing Special Needs Children's Home and other designated rehabilitation institutions for disabled children to carry out comprehensive screening of children with encephalopathy under training, understand their birth history, past medical history, current main symptoms, etc., and give them rehabilitation suggestions and basic surgical indications and judgments.
At present, there are about 6,000 disabled children aged 0-17 in Zibo. The Municipal Disabled Persons' Federation and Nolais Medical Hospital plan to complete the accurate rehabilitation screening and assistance of disabled children in 3 years, and for disabled children who meet the indications for surgery, after voluntary application by the guardians of the children, functional neurosurgery is carried out free of charge at the Nolais Medical Center to improve the brain nerve function of disabled children, improve the symptoms of patients, and ensure their quality of life.
