According to reports, the Luojia Library is positioned as a combination of "collection, exhibition and use", comprehensive collection, key display, and both reading and use. Nine types of key bookshelf exhibition areas and 5 exhibition cabinets have been set up, including classic works such as Wuhan University Academic Series and Centennial Classics, award-winning works and excellent teaching materials over the years, as well as the writings of successive presidents, academicians of the two academies, senior professors, well-known scholars, and outstanding alumni, as well as precious materials such as academic series, old lecture notes and manuscripts published during the National Wuhan University period. Up to now, the library has a collection of 24,000 volumes, of which more than 360 people and more than 5,000 works have been exhibited.

Luojia Library also has a special area for outstanding alumni works, with a total of 1230 books on display. Among them are the works of well-known writers such as Xiong Zhaozheng, Yi Zhongtian and Chi Li, as well as the works of famous entrepreneurs such as Mao Zhenhua and Yan Zhi. The Wuhan University Library said that it will continue to collect personal representative books from outstanding alumni in conjunction with the Alumni Association.
