Like Ji Guojun, the friends who love to brush vibrato have not seen the account of that kind of hiking. A person, a broken three-wheeler, walked to Tibet on foot, and drove the whole live broadcast to attract a large number of fans to watch. #汽车科技要闻 #
Similar to the account, a random search.
Admittedly, there are real hikers in there
but... Most of them are for show. Under the lens of passers-by, people have a professional "posing" team, often several people acting together, someone is responsible for logistics support; someone is responsible for photography, exposing the deeds to obtain traffic. The protagonist of "hiking" can only perform "hardship" in front of the camera.
With the increasing number of such "anti-counterfeiting" videos, everyone is not surprised.
Sometimes I can even joke that it's been a year and I haven't gone out of the city.
Then again, although everyone despises this behavior, it also reflects the high popularity of "hiking" activities. When it comes to hiking to the end of the world, the tools naturally can not be less, relying on people to pull the broken three wheels is certainly not OK, if there is a car fully functional, can go up the mountain and down the river is good.
Coincidentally, a foreign design studio built a car that met the requirements!
It was a campervan, called the "Z-Triton", with a peculiar shape, with a huge front wheel, two smaller rear wheels and a huge carriage, which looked like a combination of a tricycle and a small boat. The most special thing about it is that it can go up and down the river, and it is an amphibious vehicle without compromise.
In 2020, the first prototype of the Z-Triton was completed, which attracted widespread public interest, and the first pre-order orders were soon completed. However, the designers say the product needs to be improved before it can be mass-produced.
After two years, the campervan was finally upgraded to version 2.0, largely maintaining the original design, but some details were adjusted.
The Z-Triton 2.0 is more spacious, with a vehicle length of 3.9 m, a width of 1.45 m, a height of 1.72 m and a weight of more than 200 kg.
Its main body is composed of steel frame and glass fiber, and part of the material is 3D printed by bioplastics, making the body strong and more durable.
The design is also very detailed.
The roof deliberately leaves a place for greenery.
The roof cover of the body can be sliding~
Sliding backwards to make room for the front, enough to sit down for one person, it is a special "passenger seat".
Similarly, when the top cover is moved to the front, the back can be used.
At this time, as long as the baffle is propped up, it becomes a "temporary kitchen" to solve the problem of eating. However, due to space limitations, it is not possible to provide complete kitchen and bathroom facilities like a motorhome.
After the baffle for eating was removed, a place was vacated so that people could comfortably lie flat on the bottom of the bilge to rest, and there was enough space for two people.
As mentioned earlier, this is an amphibious vehicle.
On land, the camper is locked into bike mode, with the driver sitting in the seat on the front wheel, relying on the strength of his legs and pedaling forward.
The front of the car is fully equipped with displays, horns, shifters, rearview mirrors and so on. In addition, there is a USB port to charge the phone at all times.
Since the Z-Triton's two rear wheels are each equipped with a 250W hub motor, it can still carry you forward when you don't want to pedal yourself, and it is expected to be able to ride more than 50 kilometers continuously on land.
There are solar panels on the car that can recharge the batteries, but it is unclear how long it will take to fill up.
Encounter the river in the middle, don't be afraid, just rush !!!
When switching to surface mode, the bike function automatically locks, at which point the campervan becomes an "electric boat".
This deformation process is not complicated, the front wheel part is tilted upwards and fixed, and the two rear wheels are folded upwards. At this point, two inflatable pontoons pop up in the rear wheel position to prevent the "hull" from rolling over. The whole process takes about 5 minutes, which is quite convenient.
After turning into a boat, the driving direction changes.
At this point, the stern of the car becomes the bow of the ship, and the driver needs to open the hatch to enter the cabin.
The cabin design is extremely simple, with only a separate driver's seat, two adjustable seats, and some control components.
Speaking of control components, you can see from the central control panel that the light control (near and far lights and side lights), voltmeters, winchs, wipers, indicators, horns, Z-shaped steering wheels, internal lighting, USB sockets, clocks and thermometers, etc., are readily available.
In addition to that, there's a built-in Bluetooth speaker to listen to music and add fun to your trip.
An electric outboard motor located under the front wheels drives the oars forward.
Compared to the first-generation prototype, it has better power performance, providing 250W of power and a range of up to 25 miles.
In case the battery runs out of battery, don't worry, put on the paddle and paddle manually.
At present, this amphibious electric vehicle has been tested and has good performance, which can be used in both winter and summer.
Have to admire the foreigner's hands-on ability!
At present, Z-Triton 2.0 has opened pre-order, the full price is estimated at 14500 euros, about 104394 yuan, is expected to be delivered in Europe at the end of 2022 and in the United States in 2023.
100,000 pieces of a car, honestly not cheap, after all, a 30,000-plus Hongguang MINI can also walk away.
However, the design of this amphibious vehicle is really novel, and for those who are not short of money, using it for a weekend outing is a different experience.
