Escorting driverless vehicles
Safety is the most important factor affecting the development and promotion of driverless technology. In this science and technology Winter Olympics project, a variety of technologies were adopted in Shougang Park to verify the safety of L4 level unmanned driving.
Based on 5G, the interaction between the car end and the cloud can be realized below 10 milliseconds, and the low latency can enable the vehicle to react quickly and ensure the safety of the vehicle. Among them, the 5G intelligent vehicle networking system used can support more than 4 kinds of vehicles to achieve 10 demonstration scenarios in the Winter Olympic scenario. Through one set of platforms and two sets of networks, it can support cars, buses, logistics vehicles, retail vehicles for unmanned connection, unmanned distribution, unmanned retail and other businesses.
