The precursor of cerebral infarction, keep these 3 points in mind, the key moment can save your life!

Author: Liu Wenjun (Zhongshan Hospital, Hubei Province)

1, typical symptoms

Cerebral infarction is a type of stroke (commonly known as stroke). Remembering the characteristics of stroke episodes can help us identify them quickly. The main features of stroke can be summarized as the "120" identification method.

·1 look. Looking at 1 face, there may be asymmetry, crooked corners of the mouth, or numbness. Try to laugh to see if the facial expression is symmetrical and whether one side is sagging.

·2 check. Look at the 2 arms and try to lift them in parallel, one arm may not have the strength to lift. There may also be a feeling of numbness in one arm.

Listen. Stroke attacks often have slurred speech and difficulty expressing themselves. Say something very simple, see if you can say it, whether it is slurred and difficult to understand.

As soon as there is one of these manifestations, call the emergency number 120 immediately. Note that you want to make a note of when the symptoms occur. When first responders arrive, they want to know when symptoms start, which can affect treatment.

2. Other symptoms

Cerebral infarction is more than one of the above symptoms, and should also be noted if the following manifestations occur alone or at the same time.

Unconscious. Patients may have difficulty understanding other people's words, or wake up, coma, urinary and urinary incontinence, limb twitching, etc.

Blurred vision. One or both eyes can't see clearly, or even go blind.

Gaze to one side.

Dizziness, headache. Often accompanied by nausea and vomiting.

Difficulty walking. Unable to maintain balance when walking, you may also feel dizzy and not as coordinated as before.

Movement or paresthesias in one side of the body. One side of the face, arms, and legs feels weak or numb.

If you see these signs, even if you don't have other symptoms, call the emergency number. Don't try to wait and observe.

Abnormal physical examination

Doctor's examination. Doctors warn of "visual defects", "decreased muscle strength", "decreased sensations" and so on.

Auxiliary inspection. CT suggests "low-density foci" and "small flaky low-density shadows".

In the above cases, although it is not necessarily cerebral infarction, it is still recommended to seek medical attention in time.
