Mozilla officially said that engines that did not complete the signing agreement will be removed from Firefox due to the inability to obtain official permission to continue to include certain search engines in Firefox.
IT House learned that after upgrading to Firefox 98, a notification will appear at the top of the browser reminding users that the default search engine has changed. It also tells the user what the new default search engine is and comes with a tutorial on how to modify the search engine.
If users want to continue using the removed engine, they need to install a third-party search plugin. Or, configure a new search engine directly. This change will apply to users in all countries using the affected search engine in Mozilla.
