For such pricing, HDTVTest gives two possible reasons: one is that the supply of 42-inch OLED panels is not very sufficient, after all, the 42-inch panels have only started production last year, and the 48-inch panels have been available in 2020, and the supply of the latter is theoretically more abundant; second, LG may think that the demand for 42-inch OLED TVs will be very high, especially in the player group, so it is a little more profitable.
