Liu Chuqiang, a native of Yangjiatan, Lianyuan, works in Xiangtan. From the edge of the Sun River to the banks of the Xiang River, what does not change is the love for the texture of the text. Click on the text of #Liu Chuqiang at the top to view the historical article.

This article is more than 2000 words

Five thousand years up and down, 100,000 miles;

The three major religions of Jinglun are in and out of the Hundred Houses.

Recently revisited the CCTV "People" of "Mr. Nan Huaijin", so I have this study.

I don't read much of Mr. Nan Huaijin's books, only occasionally when I encounter him in the bookstore, I turn over his "Analects of Other Languages", "Lao Tzu He Said", "Miscellaneous Sayings of the I Ching", "The Treatise on the Land of The Yogis"... When I first entered the society, I only heard that he was very good. Probably too young at that time and influenced by Han Hanyujie's rebellious articles, he was very resistant to traditional culture.

On September 29, 2012, after the 95-year-old Nanshi passed away, he left the relic, but soon someone posted that the relics were fake. There are also questions about his articles and academic issues, such as Jin Kemu's writing of "Nan Huaijin Who Makes People Cry and Laugh" more than 30 years ago, pointing out his criticism. Yesterday, Mr. Wang, a scholar of Wen Youqun, was cracking down on academic counterfeiting, saying that Nan Huaijin's set was deceitful, and there were many inexplicable hard wounds to Confucius Laozi's explanation.

I laughed it off and didn't participate in the argument. None of this hindered my respect for him.

He is a person who understands life, is a person who is free, and in the words of Wang Xiaobo, he is an interesting person.

In the temple of Nanputuo in Xiamen, he preached to hundreds of monks and people from all walks of life, and he spoke for seven days and six nights. He has no draft, it is gossip, and a conversation leads to the north of the sky, the south of the sea, and the fisherman casts a net, talking about where is where. What is rare is that he can close the net with his hands and feet, not forget the original intention, and turn back to the original words, that is, in 1994, he was 77 years old. That quick thinking, thousands of years of thinking, grass snake gray line, strict logic, knowledgeable and strong knowledge, really impressive.

Talking about Buddhist scriptures, talking about poetry, telling ancient texts, telling interesting stories about ancient people, he is also a person in temperament. For example, he talked about Master Yuexi, who denigrated the works of a master who was worshipped in the heart of Nanshi, and said that Nanshi was his disciple. Teacher Nan angrily said that if I came to Taiwan, I would give him two slaps. I laughed unauthentically when I saw this.

Nan Huaijin's preaching of Buddhist scriptures, like Shen Congwen's novel writing at Southwest Union University in the early 20th century, is very funny and flavorful, like drinking Moutai wine. The same is true of the modern master management Zeng Shiqiang, and perhaps the masters all have the same style. At a certain level, there is no sword in the hand, but there is a sword in the heart.

The most important thing I appreciate about Nan Huaijin is his vision of fame and fortune and life and death.

Nan Huaijin's seven days of Nanputuo in Xiamen, he set the title of "Meditation and Life Science Practice", which was the first time he returned to the mainland from Taiwan after 45 years of leaving his hometown, but he did not return to his hometown in Wenzhou to see. In his early years (during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression), he came to see him at the Golden Dome of Mount Emei and the Lingyin Temple in Sichuan, nan Huaijin was 77 years old at the time, and his brother was 86 years old. The day before the end of the seventh day of Southern Zen, the master brother returned to Sichuan, Nan Huaijin did not go to send, he said the old rules of tantra, you come to me to pick up, you go I do not send, do not send means that we have been together. At that time, Nan Huaijin said to the people listening to the lecture, tomorrow is the last day, tomorrow night I will take a bird, exhale and fly away, seven days have passed, like a dream, nothing remarkable.

Nan Huaijin was remarkable, he initiated the construction of the railway from Wenzhou in Zhejiang to Jinhua in Shanghai, and he founded the Taihu School in Wujiang, Suzhou, Jiangsu.

In his early years, he practiced cultivation with his teacher, and after three years of retreat at Daping Temple in Mount Emei, he read the vast "Great Zang Sutra", and after reading all of them, the 28-year-old was still vulgar and wrote a poem Mingzhi: This body is not on the seat, and it is more important to clean up the rivers and mountains. He had a new purpose in life and spread traditional culture. And fight for it for life. Taiwan, Hong Kong, the United States, Singapore, and of course Chinese mainland his traditional cultural academic podiums everywhere.

Later, he often remembered the life of three years of retreat and Bible reading, and he wrote in the song "Unbearable Wind and Rain and Red Dust": Dreaming around the peak of Emei, untying who is me, flirting with people and shadows, sitting alone and fasting. The bright window of the sky is in the middle, and when the love is real, it is empty.

Many of his dictated books were published in the early 1990s, all of which were Buddhist teachings, the research notes of the Hundred Sons of The Hundred Schools, which filled major bookstores and influenced the Chinese world.

Mr. Nan Huaijin's earliest book was "Zen Hai Li Detective" published in Taipei in 1955. At that time, the Japanese scholar Suzuki Daisuke actually said that Zen was Japanese, and Hu Shizhi opposed the Buddha, saying that the old monk of the void cloud lived to the age of 120 was deceitful. In order to correct the audio-visual, without any handy information, with the knowledge precipitation of the three-year retreat in his youth, Nan Huaijin wrote the first book. As a result, almost no one bought it, Taipei at that time was a desert of traditional culture, the fate of books was tragic, and the people who were killed by cattle and pigs were torn off and made into meat wrapping paper.

He never forgot that his mission was to preach, and the roots of Chinese civilization could not be broken. I want to cry when I think about it. White-haired, he shed tears in class many times. In 2006, he returned to the mainland at the age of 88 and founded his last lecturer's school in Wujiang, Jiangsu Province, which is Taihu University Hall. He has been working hard and shouldering the heavy responsibility of spreading traditional culture in the new era, and has worked against the clock for 6 years. Not for the individual, for himself, he is for all Chinese, and this alone deserves the respect and memory of all the descendants of Yanhuang. On Mr. Nan's ninety-fourth birthday, before blowing out the candles, the staff asked him to make a wish that he would be four words and become a Buddha as soon as possible.

In his later years, Nanshi always emphasized that he was an ordinary person who had achieved nothing and achieved nothing, and he once wrote a couplet to Wutaishan:

Three thousand years of reading history, but fame and fortune;

Ninety thousand miles of enlightenment, and finally returned to the poetry and wine pastoral.

His biggest concern is the fault line of traditional Chinese culture, and another couplet is:

Buddha is the heart, tao is the bone, Confucianism is the table, and the world is generous;

Skills are in hand, can be in the body, think in the brain, and live life calmly.

In 2012, after Mr. Nan's death, a pyre was erected in accordance with the Buddhist ritual at Taihu University, and after the fire was lit, everyone saw a full moon in the sky.

Huazhi Spring is full of Heavenly Heart Moon, which is a symbol of the perfection of Mr. Wang's lifelong merit.

If the heart is always dependent on each other

Where not to maneuver

I hope this will last

Where the north and the south

These are the last few words of the lyrics written by Nanshi for the song "Gathering and Dispersing".

The Southern Division is immortal.
