Stamp Appreciation
The two commemorative stamps of the Fifth Congress of the International Federation of Students have the same pattern and different colors, namely rose red and apple green.
The stamp design consists of the emblem of the International Federation of Students and the Arabic numeral "5". The designer cleverly used the arc under the "5" character to enclose the emblem to form a complete decorative pattern, which not only adapted to the requirements of close connection in content, but also changed the shape of the emblem circle. The emblem is round and consists of a figure of the earth, an open book and a burning torch held high in one hand, symbolizing the purpose of the International Federation of Students to defend world peace and fight for democratic education. The lower part of the picture is painted with a pale silhouette of Tiananmen Square, indicating the location of the meeting; the text "1958" in the silhouette of Tiananmen Square indicates the time of the meeting.

Release background
The full name of the International Student Union is the International Federation of Students, which was founded in 1946. Its tasks are: to defend the rights and interests of students; to promote the improvement of student welfare and education; to unite students all over the world in their struggle for peace, national independence and democratic education. Any student organization that accepts the IAF Constitution, implements the organizational resolutions, and participates in the activities may be members. The membership of the International Student Union is divided into two types: full member and associate member.
From September 4 to 15, 1958, the Fifth Congress of the International Federation of Students was held in Beijing, the capital of China. More than 200 delegates and observers from 70 countries and regions participated in the meeting.

Anecdotes
In anticipation of the Fifth World Student Congress held in Beijing, on August 21, 1958, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications announced that a set of two commemorative stamps for the Congress would be issued on September 1. As the congress was renamed the Fifth Congress of the International Federation of Students, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued an urgent telegram on August 28, notifying the suspension of sales and the withdrawal of the stamp set that had been issued to various localities. Subsequently, it was notified and officially issued on September 4th, the commemorative stamp of the "Fifth Congress of the International Federation of Students" was officially issued. The reprinted commemorative stamp of the "Fifth Congress of the International Federation of Students" has the same pattern and denomination, and the brush color has been slightly changed, the first 8 cents has been changed from orange to rose red, and the second 22 cents has been changed from green to apple green. However, there are very few places that do not sell in advance according to the date of issue, resulting in a small number of stamps printed with the "Fifth World Student Congress" outflow, and the denomination of 22-cent stamps is not used much (the denomination stamps are mainly used on aviation registered letters), there are few people who buy them, the outflow is also very small, the odd goods are available, and the price is difficult to determine.

In 2020, under the auspices and curation of Mr. Gu Jianhua, the Post Office Stamp Exhibition Hall with the theme of Post Office was established. The exhibition hall will classify and sort out tens of thousands of stamps since the founding of New China, divided into 7 exhibition areas, disseminate popular science knowledge related to stamps, and develop postcards with local characteristics of Jimingyi and postage cultural tourism products with the theme of Jimingyi Ancient City.
Post Office Introduction:
Jimingyi "Postal Station Cultural Theme Post Office" Stamp Exhibition Hall is located in the ancient city of Jimingyi in Huailai County, with a construction area of about 1,000 square meters, using a single-eaves warped wall-topping antique building. In August 1995, in order to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of China Post, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications also issued a set of two commemorative stamps "Ancient Station", one of which was Jimingyi, so that Jimingyi "one song the world".
