On the afternoon of September 18, Wang Xiangwang, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and secretary of the Working Committee of the East Lake High-tech Zone, and Liu Jie, director of the Management Committee of the East Lake High-tech Zone, investigated the road construction of the Optics Valley Science and Technology Innovation Corridor, requiring high standards and high levels of accelerated construction, widely applying the latest scientific and technological achievements, and paying attention to the organic integration of urban construction and natural ecology.
The research team drove all the way to the east to inspect the construction of the section of Gaoxin Avenue (Outer Ring Road - Short Tsui Lihu Bridge), the Jianghan Petroleum Company Area of Gaoxin Avenue, and the drip irrigation system of Gaoxin Avenue, and listened to reports.
The section of Gaoxin Avenue (Outer Ring Road - Short Tsui Li Lake Bridge) is 6.7 kilometers long, the planned red line is 65 meters wide, and the main road is 8 lanes in both directions and the auxiliary road is 4 lanes in both directions. The southern part of the road is planned as an urban building, the northern part is a natural mountain that stretches for several kilometers, and there are several xidi areas that can be used as sponge city water storage areas.
The jianghan petroleum company area of high-tech avenue has built Hubei China Coal Zhongdi New Energy Research and Development Center, phalanx talent port and other projects, and will soon build a pocket park near the Leopard Station of Metro Line 11, with rain and flood gardens, Huxin Island, etc., and the difference between the regular water level and the maximum water level is 0.5 meters, which can provide a regulated storage volume of nearly 2,000 cubic meters.
The intelligent sprinkler irrigation system of Gaoxin Avenue (Third Ring Road - Outer Ring Road) has a total length of 10.7 kilometers and an irrigation area of 102,300 square meters, which is built and implemented by Heda Technology, an innovative enterprise in Optics Valley, combined with Beidou positioning, Internet of Things +5G, big data algorithms and other technologies to realize the remote and intelligent maintenance of road green irrigation, so that people and nature can feel, know and interact with nature.
Wang Xiangwang pointed out that mountains and streams are valuable ecological resources of the Optics Valley Science and Technology Innovation Corridor, and it is necessary to do a good job in construction design, minimize artificial traces, and strive for the natural transition and organic integration of road greening and landscapes, so that people can walk on the road, and the mountains can be seen at a glance. It is necessary to rationally use resources such as park green space and natural water bodies to create more water absorption and storage space, and build a "sponge city" with natural accumulation, natural infiltration and natural purification.
He actively affirmed the achievements of enterprise innovation, encouraged enterprises to continuously explore technology and business model innovation, and further reduced costs and increased efficiency. He said that the construction of the Optics Valley Science and Technology Innovation Corridor is a major strategy of the province, and the high-tech avenue is the main axis of the Science and Technology Innovation Corridor, which should be built into a model of science and technology, conservation, environmental protection and low carbon. East Lake High-tech Zone will continue to open up more application scenarios to the majority of innovative enterprises to help enterprises become bigger and stronger.
