On February 11, the sixth plenary (expanded) meeting of the 13th Baoji Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League was held. Duan Xiaolong, deputy secretary of the municipal party committee, attended the meeting and made a speech.
The meeting pointed out that in the past year, under the correct leadership of the Provincial Youth League Committee and the Municipal Party Committee, the League organizations at all levels in the city have taken a clear-cut stand in adhering to the party's leadership, effectively serving the overall situation of the party and government center, and continuing to strengthen the league's own construction.
The meeting stressed that this year is the year of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the implementation of the 14th Five-Year Plan, as well as the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Youth League, and it is of great significance to do a good job in all aspects of the work of the Communist Youth League. It is necessary to uphold the party's leadership and comprehensively strengthen the building of the regiment. As the party's assistant and reserve army, the Communist Youth League must consciously place itself under the leadership of the party, regard the strengthening of the building of the league as the number one project, plan the layout around the "three forces, one degree, two guarantees", strengthen political guidance, continue to deepen reform, comprehensively and strictly administer the league, and build an advanced league organization that can reassure the party, satisfy young people, and need social development. It is necessary to encourage young people to forge ahead and strive to be trendsetters in development. The city's league organizations at all levels should lead, organize, and serve the vast number of young people well, anchor the coordinates of youth, highlight the responsibility of youth, glow with youthful brilliance, and play the strong voice of youth that "please rest assured of the party, the country has me." It is necessary to implement leadership responsibilities and consolidate the foundation for the development of the Cause of the Communist Youth League. Party committees (party groups) at all levels in the city should strengthen leadership over the work of the League from the strategic perspective of consolidating and expanding the mass base of young people in the party's ruling power, strengthen the top-level design, work implementation, and institutional guarantees, and provide a good working environment and conditions for the league organizations.
The meeting studied and conveyed the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the Eighteenth Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, reviewed and summarized the work of the Baoji Communist Youth League in 2021, studied and deployed the work of the city's League in 2022, and commended the outstanding units, advanced league organizations and advanced units of the work of the Communist Youth League in 2021. Deliberated and adopted the "Key Points of work of the Baoji Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League in 2022", "Confirmation of the Resignation of Members of the Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League", "Resolution on the Convening of the 14th Congress of the Communist Youth League of Baoji City" and "Resolution on the Composition of the 14th Committee of the Communist Youth League of Baoji City".
More than 90 people attended the meeting, including Jing Xingjun, deputy secretary general of the Municipal Committee of the Municipal Committee, members of the leading body of the Municipal Committee of the Youth League, members of the Standing Committee and members of the Standing Committee of the 13th Youth League Municipal Committee, secretaries of the County and District Youth League Committees who are not members of the Municipal Committee of the Youth League, or deputy secretaries who preside over the work, and responsible comrades of some bureaus (committees) and the Youth League Committees of enterprises and institutions directly under the municipal government.
