A few days ago, Volkswagen Kanche obtained the declaration chart of the new Geely ICON from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. As a mid-term modification, the new car not only optimizes the details, but also replaces it with a new 1.5T four-cylinder engine.
Judging from the declaration drawing, the front face of the new car adopts a personalized design language, and the inside of the polygon grille is decorated with a similar echo-like structure, which is very layered. The headlight group adopts a split design and is connected to the air intake to enhance the recognition and increase the visual width.
On the side of the body, the waist line is separated from the door, which increases the sense of side layering, and at the same time, the new car has blackened the A, B and C pillars to create a suspended roof effect. The hidden design of the door handle not only reduces the wind resistance, but also highlights its own technological attributes.
In terms of power, the new Geely ICON is equipped with a 1.5T four-cylinder engine with a power of 133 kilowatts, an increase of 3 kilowatts compared to the current 1.5T three-cylinder engine, and the transmission system may continue to match the 6-speed automatic transmission or the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
