IT House February 13 news, Microsoft recently announced the launch of a new icon for the Windows Insider Program. Microsoft says the new icon represents users who love and help shape the future of Windows through dev, beta and release previews of the three internal channels.
IT House understands that Insider members of dev channels will soon see the icon under Settings > Windows Update > Windows Insider Program. The new icon will also appear in email and other areas.
Previously, Microsoft also announced the latest Windows Insider Program changes. The Dev channel will be where experimental features will appear, while the Beta channel will contain features that are closer to all users. This could mean that new features, if close to being announced, will even appear in beta channels first.
According to Microsoft, Microsoft also plans to provide Windows 11 testers with an option to switch from dev channel to Beta channel to avoid more experimental features in progress.
