The | peaceful, welcoming and lovely, there is always a beach for you

Cloud destination: Cape Town

Cloud tour highlight: beach

Surrounded by the sea on three sides, South Africa has a long coastline full of surprising beaches. Among them, the beaches located in Cape Town vary in style, or magnificent and tranquil, or full of enthusiasm, attracting many tourists to come for a holiday.

As one of the finest beaches in South Africa, Clifton Beach is only about 10 minutes from the city and is popular with locals. It consists of four beaches, and initially each beach was not named, so it was distinguished by the first, second, third, and fourth beaches. It is worth mentioning that the fourth beach is the largest and most popular beach, known for its cleanliness, safety and environmental protection. Clifton Beach, with its soft white sand and surrounded by mountains, is comfortable against southeasterly winds from the Atlantic Ocean. It is said that on summer nights, watching the sunset with a picnic here is a very popular activity among locals.

Camps Bay is also one of South Africa's most famous beaches, attracting thousands of visitors every year. There is a wide range of recreational activities, including beach volleyball, sunbathing and more, as well as spectacular views of Table Mountain. There are also plenty of restaurants, cafés and bars nearby for a big meal. At the peak of summer holidays, locals drive about a kilometre in the direction of Clifton to the more secluded Glen Beach.

Landno is located about 20 kilometres south of Cape Town via Chapman Avenue, one of South Africa's most beautiful self-driving roads. After crossing a winding narrow road, you will find a hidden area of off-the-beaten-track beaches, soft sand and a suitable climate. Children can build castles out of sand here, and adults can surf together. In addition, the popular Boulder Beach is located about 40 kilometers south of Cape Town, and in the picturesque town of Simon, the most attractive place here is the cute little penguins, who walk awkwardly along the seashore.
