Recently, the official image of The Ford Bronco Everglades was officially released and will make its debut at the 2022 Chicago Auto Show. As a model for wetland and swamp road conditions, the new car has a strong wading and mud escape ability, will be scheduled in March, and officially launched in the summer, with a starting price of about US$54,495 (about 346,700 yuan) in overseas markets.
In order to maximize the wading capacity of the new car, it can be seen that the car has installed a wading hose assembly on the right side of the front windshield, and with the position of the breathing valve of its redesigned transfer box and gearbox, the wading depth reaches 925mm to ensure the air supply of the engine under extreme conditions. The car's tires and wheel arches were also modified to some extent and are equipped with 35-inch Goodyear mud tires.
The car also features a Dana locking differential and Bilstein shock absorber, and a WARN winch with a load capacity of 10,000 pounds (about 4,536 kilograms) mounted on the front bumper, greatly improving overall off-road performance.
Inside the car, the Ford Bronco Everglades has also added some waterproofing measures and rubber flooring, which also contribute to daily cleaning and maintenance. In addition, the car is also equipped with a 12-inch central touch screen of the Sync4 machine system.
In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a 2.3T EcoBoost engine, which can output a maximum power of 304 horsepower and a peak torque of 440 Nm, which will be matched by a 10-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive system with G.O.A.T terrain management system.
