"When I was eight years old, I once went to buy ice cream after moving bricks in a kiln factory, and there were adults next to me whispering about me and praising me for my ability, but unfortunately I was not my own child." Gao Xiumei said that after overhearing this sentence, she began to doubt her own origins.
