Ma Tao: There have been more than 50 space launches this year

On February 9, China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation held a press conference on the Blue Book of China's Aerospace Science and Technology Activities (2021) (hereinafter referred to as the Blue Book) in Beijing. The meeting pointed out that in 2022, the Aerospace Science and Technology Group plans to arrange more than 50 space launch missions; carry out 6 launch missions in the manned space project throughout the year, and fully build the Space Station with the Tianhe core module as the control center, the Qingtian and Dream Experimental Modules as the main experimental platform, and the perennial manned care space station; the Long March 6A carrier rocket will carry out its first flight. The Blue Book comprehensively reviews the space science and technology activities in 2021 from six chapters: the development trend of world spaceflight, China's space launch activities, China's spacecraft development activities, China's aerospace application services, China's international cooperation in space, and China's commercial space progress.

Ma Tao: There have been more than 50 space launches this year

Space launch and development continue to turn on "super mode"

In 2021, China Aerospace carried out 55 launch missions throughout the year, ranking first in the world in the number of launches, and the quantity and quality of launch payloads continued to set new records; 5 missions in the key technology verification stage of the Chinese space station were successfully completed, and the assembly and construction in orbit were carried out in an all-round way; Tianwen-1 was completely circumnavigated, landed and toured at one time, and China's first Mars exploration mission was successful; international cooperation in space space continued to deepen, and the international sharing of space capabilities continued to promote; China's commercial spaceflight made new progress, basically forming the layout of the main industrial chain. Among them, the Aerospace Science and Technology Group Long March series of carrier rockets completed 48 launch missions, all of which were successful, ranking first in the number of launches in the world's aerospace enterprises, with a total number of 103 launched spacecraft and a total mass of 189.65 tons.

In 2022, the aerospace launch and development work of the Aerospace Science and Technology Group will still run at a high level and continue to open the "super mode". According to the relevant experts of the Aerospace Science and Technology Group, the space launch of the Aerospace Science and Technology Group in 2022 presents three major characteristics: First, the number of launches and flight tests continues to remain high. The Aerospace Science and Technology Group plans to arrange more than 50 space launch missions and launch more than 140 spacecraft, and the number of launches will continue to remain high; it will complete the first flight mission of the Long March 6 A carrier rocket and the Jielong 3 carrier rocket.

Second, major engineering tasks are very arduous and have a huge impact. The construction of the space station is an important leading project for building a scientific and technological power and a space power, and is the top priority of the annual aerospace mission. The manned space station project will complete 6 major tasks this year, including the two cargo spacecraft of Tianzhou 4 and Tianzhou 5, the two manned spacecraft of Shenzhou 14 and Shenzhou 15, the launch of the Tiantian Experimental Module I and the Dream Experiment Module II, as well as the docking at the orbital intersection, the outgoing spacecraft activities and the return of the spacecraft, and the space station will be fully completed this year.

Third, the research and development task continues to maintain high intensity, and technical research is difficult. In 2022, the Aerospace Science and Technology Group will focus on the development of multiple models represented by the fourth phase of the lunar exploration project and the asteroid probe, promote satellite applications to actively serve the national strategic goals, create an industrial form of "aerospace + informatization +", accelerate the construction of a high-orbit satellite Internet integrated information service system, build a satellite remote sensing integrated operation service system integrating civil and commercial applications, and extend Beidou applications to system integration and value-added services.

In addition, in 2022, the Aerospace Science and Technology Group will also launch a number of national civil space infrastructure scientific research satellites and business satellites to meet the application needs of users in various fields such as natural resources, ecological environment, forestry and grassland, emergency response, meteorology, radio and television, so that aerospace technology can better serve the social and people's livelihood and serve the development and construction of the national economy. The annual launch plan also includes many commercial launch missions such as Beijing No. 3 B satellite and Zhongzi satellite constellation 03 group satellites.

Ma Tao, deputy director of the Aerospace Department of China Aerospace Science and Technology Group, said that in 2022, the group will complete six major tasks of the manned space station project, build a space station in an all-round way, and promote China's space development to a new height. The Long March 6A carrier rocket will complete its first flight, and will launch a number of national civil space infrastructure scientific research satellites and business satellites, focusing on the development of the fourth phase of the lunar exploration project and asteroid probes.
