However, in recent years, the discovery of ancient pottery between 11,000 and 12,000 years old in Japan has broken this conclusion
The ancient pottery of the Two Rivers Basin found so far is not more than 7000 BC. Could it be that the original Japanese in the Jomon period first invented pottery?
After the instrument testing of these pottery pieces and various technical analysis, it was found that the human pottery technology at that time was still relatively primitive, the thickness of the pottery pieces was uneven, the texture was sparse, the inner and outer walls were uneven, and this primitive state just proved that the pottery technology was immature in the origin stage, and later countless exquisite pottery and even porcelain were born from here. In the site of the Ten Thousand Years Immortal Cave, the living relics of ancient humans are well preserved, the level of cultural accumulation is clear, and a large number of stone tools, mussels, bone products, etc. have been excavated, as well as a small number of human bones, and the significance of this site should not be under the Zhoukoudian site.
It is worth noting that the pottery fragments found in the Wannian Immortal Cave are not an isolated case, and scholars have also found similar pottery pieces in other ancient human sites in southern China, the most typical of which is the pottery found at the Jade Toad Rock Site in Hunan Province, which is also as old. These findings are linked, which further proves that the ancient human groups along the Yangtze River Basin in southern China have the world's earliest pottery making technology and are the true source of ancient pottery. Although these pottery are extremely primitive, they fully demonstrate the extraordinary creativity of human beings at that time.
