The land area of the plot is 1,133,400 square meters, the transaction price is 430.69 million yuan, the plot ratio is ≧0.7, the land use is class II industrial land, the use condition industry category is transportation equipment manufacturing, and the transfer period is 50 years.
According to tianyancha APP, Chongqing Chezhiyu Automobile Industry Co., Ltd. was established on December 9, 2021, with a registered address of No. 618, Liangjiang Avenue, Longxing Town, Liangjiang New District, Chongqing, and the company's business scope includes the construction of permitted project construction projects, as well as the manufacture of auto parts and accessories for general projects. The company is 100% controlled by Chongqing Ideal Automobile Co., Ltd.
The information reveals that Ideal Automobile may be planning to build a new factory in Chongqing, which is less than half a year before the start of construction of its Beijing Shunyi factory. Such an urgent construction of factories to expand production capacity also shows the current heat of the new energy vehicle market and the fierce competition.
Changzhou, Beijing, Chongqing, the ideal factory formed an "iron triangle" pattern
At present, Ideal Auto has two vehicle plants, one has been put into production and one is still under construction.
Ideal Automobile's first plant is located in Wujin District, Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, with an annual production capacity of 100,000 units. The plant is now under construction with a new workshop that will reach a capacity of 200,000 units per year upon completion.
The official name of the second plant is ideal automobile Beijing green intelligent manufacturing base, which was originally the first factory of Beijing Hyundai. Ideal Auto will start reconstruction on October 16, 2021, with a total investment of more than 6 billion yuan, and is scheduled to start production by the end of 2023, with a production capacity of 100,000 units per year and a pure electric model.
However, even if the expansion of the first factory is completed and the reconstruction of the second factory is completed, it is far from meeting the sales target set at the beginning. In fact, ideal car and Chongqing have a long history. At the end of 2018, Ideal Automobile spent 650 million yuan to acquire Chongqing Lifan Automobile, obtained car-making qualifications, and was able to enter the car-making industry.
Earlier, in August 2018, the ideal car that was also called a car and home signed a contract with Chongqing Liangjiang New Area to invest 11 billion yuan to build a smart car manufacturing base, covering an area of 1,800 mu and a total production capacity of 400,000 units per year. The base will be built in two phases, the first phase of the project is expected to build an annual production capacity of 200,000 units in 2021, and put into operation at least two smart electric vehicle products.
As for why the follow-up failed to take shape, the reason is unknown, and now the ideal car is considered to be a continuation of the frontier with the construction of a factory in Chongqing.

Xiaopeng Automobile's original plant, the Haima Automobile Foundry in Zhengzhou, has been discontinued. Its first self-built factory was selected in Zhaoqing, Guangdong Province, with an annual output of 100,000-150,000 vehicles; the second self-built factory was in Guangzhou, with a production capacity of 100,000 vehicles, which is expected to be completed this year; the third self-built factory was selected in Wuhan, with an annual output of 100,000 vehicles, and put into operation next year. According to the sales ranking of the new car-making forces last year, the current factory of Xiaopeng Automobile, which ranked first, is also the most widely distributed.
Xiaopeng Automobile's factory is mainly selected in its own base camp Guangdong, although it has Xiaopeng's personal hometown feelings in Wuhan, it is more based on the interests of the company's future development.
Compared with Xiaopeng, Weilai is much more "dedicated". Weilai and Hefei have achieved a deep binding, mainly due to the assistance provided by Hefei to Weilai in times of crisis. NIO's first plant is a foundry in cooperation with JAC, which can achieve a production capacity of 300,000 units in double shifts. The second factory is the Hefei Xinqiao Intelligent Electric Vehicle Industrial Park, which is under construction, with a planned production capacity of a staggering 1 million units.
