Recently, FAW-Volkswagen officially announced its January 2022 sales report. According to the data, FAW-Volkswagen sold 195871 units (including Audi imported cars) in January this year, an increase of 0.85% month-on-month and a year-on-year decline of 18.9%, achieving nearly one-tenth of the annual target (2 million units).

From the perspective of brand sales, the Jetta brand sold 20,022 units, an increase of 41% year-on-year and a slight increase of 3.4% month-on-month. Among the three models currently on sale, the Jetta VS5 is the main sales model, with sales exceeding 10,000 units in December 2021.
The Volkswagen brand sold 105761 units in January, down slightly from 113635 units in December. The Audi brand sold 70,088 vehicles in January, compared with 60,504 units in December last year, achieving a 15.8% month-on-month increase, which is mainly related to faw-Volkswagen's internal strategy: in the case of chip shortage, priority is given to Audi, and the maximum production of models that are not affected by chip resources to make up for production losses.
