Summer in my hometown

author:Bugs' philosophy of happiness

My hometown counts as the south in the eyes of northerners, and counts as north in the eyes of southerners, that is, the place where the north and south divide. It is reasonable to say that the climate of the hometown should belong to the temperate climate of lukewarm and lukewarm, but the winter and summer of the hometown are both ice and fire, and at the same time have both the cold in the north and the extreme heat in the south.

The hometown has four distinct seasons, the best climate is the spring and autumn, the scenery is also the most beautiful, the spring is gorgeous, the autumn is real, are beautiful and intoxicating.

But whether it is the fragrant spring, the fruitful autumn, or the winter when the snowflakes are flying, the most unforgettable thing is the summer that makes people hot and have nowhere to hide. Whenever I am in the hot summer, my mood is as painful as the sweat flowing from my body.

Summer in my hometown, like a sick child, often has a high fever of more than 38 degrees. Early in the morning, the cicadas shouted loudly, as if to tell people that another fiery day had begun.

At noon, the sun was like fire, and the earth was like a steamer, so hot that people could not breathe. The cement floor is baked hot by the sun, and walking barefoot on it is like walking on a charcoal fire, and despite the thick calluses on the soles of your feet, you have to jump through quickly.

The originally hard asphalt road melted under the scorching sun, and the tar stuck to the tires of the bicycle, like a "Ziz" sound when the dog skin plaster was torn from the back, and the speed was naturally much slower than usual, as if to tell you that the weather was hot, and you rode a little slower.

Even the paddy fields, which are usually cool, are hot at this time. The frog that accidentally jumped down was also so hot that it hurried back to the field.

At this time most animals try to find a shady place to hide, only to hide underground for a lifetime, knowing that they are making irritating cries in the branches. I don't know if they are cheering for the scorching sun or whether they are protesting strongly against the scorching heat.

No matter how hot it is, if there is a breeze of 2-3 levels, find a shade by the river, a bamboo forest by the field or a shaded and ventilated alley, and it is quite enjoyable to move a long bench for a nap.

The most frightening thing is the sweltering heat, there is no trace of wind, the leaves do not move, the whole air seems to freeze, indoors and outdoors are as hot as a steamer, then you are really hot and have nowhere to hide. It's okay to be so hot during the day, and you can make your own wind without wind. Take a banana fan, keep splashing the fan, although it is hot air, you can also find the feeling of the wind.

I am most afraid that at night I will not see a trace of wind, and the air is still as hot as during the day. In order to avoid the large number of mosquitoes that follow the shadows and perseverance, you have to hide in the sweltering mosquito net when you sleep.

The environment was like a sauna today, sweating while sleeping, and sweating could often be poured out on the bamboo mat. Because of the activity all day, even in such an environment, I can sleep soundly. It is precisely because of the water that I have been shipwrecked, but after I arrived in the real south, I did not feel hot.

Of course, summer is not always such a sweltering weather, and there are often storms that come and go in the afternoon. Often just now it was still the scorching sun, the sky suddenly drifted a few black clouds, a blink of an eye, the black clouds surged more and more, the faster and faster, covering the sky. Then came the fierce wind, lightning and thunder, and the dull thunder was like a cannon blast. What followed was "Crackle!" Heavy rains hit people fleeing in all directions. The whole process was very violent, as if it was a complaint with the heat just now.

The day after the rain is a comfortable day, the air becomes fresh and moist, and the baked soil emits the characteristic aroma of the earth after the rainstorm.

The various flora and fauna that escaped the disaster changed the dull atmosphere before the rain, the plants became verdant, and the animals moved around, as if happily celebrating their new life.

The sun also changed from the strong before the rain, becoming much softer, and the rainbow that arrived as promised decorated the sky with brilliant colors. The summer after the rain becomes vibrant and refreshed!

If you catch a typhoon, it is not as simple as a storm, you can come and go. Typhoons are like guests from afar, and since they come, they will stay for 3-5 days. Continuous winds and rain will fill your lakes and paddy fields with water, often bringing cool weather for about ten days.

Summer in my hometown is meteorological and colorful, and it is one of the most magnificent chapters of the year. Rich in content, sometimes impassioned, sometimes ups and downs, it is rough but not barbaric, and its fiery and passionate is enough to cleanse people's cowardice and timidity.

When I was a child, there was no air conditioner or electric fan at home, and the cooling mainly depended on a banana fan. Although the summer is very hot, the whole summer is very fulfilling and happy, so I always love summer.

Whenever I hear on the radio that there will be continuous hot weather in the near future, I am still very happy. Not masochism, heat has the benefits of heat, and there is a reason why you like heat.

Fun is in the nature of children, and I am no exception. Although I love to study and never skip class, I prefer to take a vacation, and the nearly two months of summer vacation provide me with plenty of play time.

In the morning, a pair of pants and a straw hat can be used all day in the wild, although two layers of skin are dried every year, but the bare shoulders feel free and comfortable when they move outside.

After dinner, a banana fan and a straw mat can be played on the team's barn until 12 o'clock in the evening.

Throughout the summer, the activities are rich, the life is colorful, the mood is relaxed and happy, and every day is very fulfilling. I think that's one of the reasons I love summer.

You can swim in the hot weather. My favorite sport as a child was swimming, which may also be related to my father's strict control of my swimming. When I was 4-5 years old, in order to control my going to swim in the river, my father made strict regulations on time and temperature, especially in terms of temperature, and I was not allowed to swim in the river without 37 ° C. I can't swim without meeting the conditions, so the hot weather has become something I look forward to every day.

I like to swim and dare not cross the rules, I can only resign myself to fate, and I hope that it is hot weather every day. If the weather forecast says it's hot, I'll be happy, at least my chances of swimming in the river are much greater.

When I was very young, I was responsible for cooking dinner (porridge), and cooking rice in the summer was a chore, but I never felt that it was a chore. I knew that whenever I took the thermometer (later learned to be obedient, I put the thermometer on the edge of the stove and baked it to 38 ° C when I burned the fire) to show it to my father, and my father looked at my sweat and straw clippings, and the probability of approving me to swim was much greater.

So every day in front of the stove like a boilermaker, I try to burn it as much as possible, sweat a little more, and preferably my pants are soaked. Once you get your father's approval and jump into the river, the happy mood is indescribable and incomprehensible.

When I was a child, I sometimes sold popsicles, and the heat was a good time to sell popsicles. At that time, everyone was not rich, and they did not spend money without spending money, even if the children did not have popsicles to eat every day. But if the weather is really hot, parents will usually buy popsicles for their children to eat, and adults themselves will cool down.

Therefore, whenever you sell popsicles, you hope that the weather is hot and stuffy, so that the popsicles will sell a lot better. Although it is also hot to carry a popsicle box through the fields of the village, I hope from the bottom of my heart that the weather is hot, so that I can make more money.

When I was a child, I liked to catch all kinds of aquatic animals, and summer was the best time to catch aquatic animals such as fish, shrimp and crabs, and every time I went out, I was always able to return with a full load.

Animals like loach are more likely to catch at higher temperatures. At that time, in order to catch more, I would brave the hot noon sun and go out alone to catch it, never hesitate because it was too hot.

The same is true for the capture of yellow eels, after the scorching sun during the day, the water in the fields is hot and hot, and how deep the yellow eels are hidden. At night, due to the evaporation of the water, the water temperature becomes cool, and the yellow eels that have been hiding for a day will not wait to drill out to forage for food, and the harvest they go out to catch is naturally richer than usual.

Summer evenings are a great time to socialize. People in their hometown usually have the good habit of going to bed early and getting up early, but in the summer, they often sleep late. If the weather is hot enough, at night, men, women and children will gather in the team's barn yard to cool off.

If there is no wind, the barn is no cooler than at home, and the concrete field after exposure to the sun emits a heat wave like a fire. However, due to the large number of people in the barn, you can always find activities that interest you.

Therefore, as a child, cooling is not the main purpose, play is the main thing. Where the bustle is crowded there, at that time, I would generally mix until about 12 o'clock before reluctantly going home to sleep, and occasionally I slept all night on the barn.

Another important reason for liking summer is that there are many kinds of melons and fruits that can be eaten in summer. In fact, as a child, the biggest wish is to eat well and play well. When we were young, there were many opportunities to play, and we all had a lot of fun, but there were still problems with whether we could eat enough. Especially in the spring evening, when I was hungry, I always climbed on the stove and waited for the meal.

In the summer, there is basically no such problem, and I often eat it: sweet watermelon, sweet melon, refreshing cucumber, sour and sweet tomato, etc. are all their favorites, and they are basically guaranteed. Pumpkin, loofah, eggplant, poacher and various pods are also available as dishes, and the dishes on the table are much more abundant than other seasons, and they are often eaten when they are in full bloom.

So, despite the hot, busy, tired, and many pest bites in the summer, I am very full in both material (mainly stomach) and emotional, and summer makes me full of energy and passion!

The summer of childhood is a happy and nostalgic summer!
