During the meeting, Yuan Mingxue, deputy secretary of the party committee of Changan Automobile and chairman of the trade union, introduced the work plan for the appointment of the tenure system, and announced the dismissal documents of some general managers.

Tencent Auto learned from Changan Automobile insiders that the adjustment of senior executives involved nearly "three digits, less than 300 people", did not involve manufacturing positions and joint ventures, and the adjustment is expected to complete all the work of application and appointment within one week.

It is worth noting that Changan Automobile is not the first car company to re-compete for jobs "all up", as early as 2017, FAW Group also carried out the "918" reform, making large-scale adjustments to the corporate structure and executives.

According to FAW insiders, at that time, FAW's reform of "all standing up and competing for posts" involved nearly 8,000 people, "interviews during the day, appointments late at night", and included R&D, production, marketing and other positions. Since then, several major FAW joint ventures have also begun to carry out high-level adjustments.

However, according to the above-mentioned Changan Automobile insiders, unlike FAW, this adjustment does not involve structural adjustments, only personnel adjustments. According to its disclosure, Changan has recently carried out several structural optimizations, "such as the R & D department has made a split, divided into power, intelligence, modeling and other departments, more and more detailed." ”

It is reported that the tenure system of Changan Automobile's senior personnel will be reviewed and reviewed throughout the company, first of all, all the general manager-level personnel of the company's second-level units will be dismissed and re-hired, the tenure system and contractual management will be promoted synchronously, all senior personnel will be dismissed and re-recruited, and the tenure system will be adopted for executives below the general manager, and the multi-dimensional assessment will be carried out from multiple dimensions of work ability, youthfulness, knowledge structure and personality characteristics.

According to Changan Automobile's planning, in order to practice the strategy of "new automobile and new ecology", Changan Automobile plans to invest 150 billion yuan, focusing on five dimensions: software, intelligent technology, low carbon, new business model and high-end talents. Among them, in the adjustment of the talent structure, by 2025, Changan Automobile plans to account for 50% of intelligent software talents.

According to the data, in 2021, Changan Automobile's cumulative sales volume for the whole year was about 2.3005 million units, an increase of 14.82% year-on-year. Among them, the annual sales of Changan Chinese brand cars exceeded 1.75 million units, an increase of 16.7% year-on-year; the annual sales of Changan Chinese brand passenger cars exceeded 1.2 million units, up 23.1% year-on-year, ranking third among independent brands.
