In the New Year of the Tiger, walking in Wuyishan National Park, the mountains and rivers are stacked with greenery, and the blue water passes through it. In the recreation area, red lanterns hang high and tourists walk in groups. Deep in the forest, stewards climb mountains and mountains to guard the mountains and forests. Cooking smoke rises, the farm yard laughs and laughs, and the family is calculating the harvest account...

In 2021, Wuyishan National Park was officially established. As the only national park in the mainland that is not only a world biosphere reserve, but also a dual cultural and natural heritage of the world, Wuyishan National Park adheres to the principle of ecological protection first, explores scientific and technological management, develops eco-tourism, builds ecological tea gardens, and realizes the unity of ecological protection, green development and improvement of people's livelihood.

Empowered by science and technology, we can protect beautiful landscapes

During the Spring Festival holiday, Zhou Wenting's family from Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, came to Wuyi Mountain to play.

"Tick" a sound, check the ticket into the park. At the same time, in the National Park Wisdom Management Center, the admission data of Zhou Wenting's family appeared on the blue screen.

Staff member Yuan Fuliang introduced that this large screen is the "wisdom brain" of Wuyishan National Park, and also the "secret" of efficient operation and ecological management of the national park. In addition to tourist information analysis, the screen also displays information such as water quality, air quality, and monitoring screens in the park in real time.

Red lanterns hang high on both sides of the road. Looking around, the red dots of the stars are in harmony with the greenery of the peaks, and tourists walk among them, becoming their own picture. Leading her family all the way up the mountain to see the water, Zhou Wenting repeatedly praised: "Everywhere is a good scenery." ”

On the Nine-Curve Creek, take a bamboo raft, and the two banks are stacked with mountains and verdant. Under the Wuqu Bridge, a group of dark fish swam by, and Zhou Wenting stopped, somewhat curious. Animal lovers on the side immediately recognized: "This is a light barbed catfish, wild resources are very rare, but Wuyi Mountain is very common here." ”

Travel to the top of the peak and take a group photo. In the photo, the family is smiling brightly. Behind him, the sea of clouds gradually faded, and the panoramic view of Wuyi could be seen.

On the back-end system operated by Yuan Fuliang, he also witnessed the picture of these people living in harmony with nature. Today, in Wuyishan National Park, there are 2799 species of higher plants in 269 families, which can be called "natural botanical gardens"; 7407 species of wild animals are praised by Chinese and foreign biologists as "bird paradise", "snake kingdom" and "insect world".

"Nowadays, using intelligent technical means such as drones and infrared cameras, the intelligent management system has realized all-round and all-weather monitoring of the 'sky and land' of Wuyishan National Park, and improved the ecological protection capability." Yuan Fuliang pointed to the right side of the screen, a special area summarized the real-time patrol situation of each law enforcement brigade, and the number of patrol personnel, personnel positioning, patrol trajectory and other information were clearly listed.

As he spoke, the data on the screen that was patrolling online jumped up—another steward entered the mountain.

Ecological patrol, build a solid front-line barrier

Entering the mountain was Weng Jiankui, a steward of the Tongmu Squadron of the Star Village Brigade of the Wuyishan National Park Law Enforcement Detachment.

In 2016, Wuyishan National Park piloted, a unified and efficient management and operation system was established: the Wuyishan National Park Administration, which is vertically managed by the provincial government, was established, and a two-level management agency of "Management Bureau- Management Station" was established. Under the management station, a number of law enforcement brigades are set up accordingly, and each law enforcement brigade is equipped with multiple management and protection personnel.

Streams are flowing and birds are chirping. The ecological core area is in stark contrast to the bustle of the recreation area: no outsiders usually enter, and only this mountain accompanies the caretakers.

Parking the motorcycle at the foot of the mountain, turning on the patrol assistant software on his mobile phone, Weng Jiankui hiked into the mountain. At the same time, the system of the Wuyishan National Park Wisdom Management Center also received Weng Jiankui's patrol signal in real time. Through the patrol assistant, Weng Jiankui can not only transmit the photos and videos of the patrol site to the center, in case of emergency, but also be able to connect with the background for the first time, and the safety and efficiency of the patrol are greatly improved.

Rain runs in the mountains, the mountains are still filled with fog, the mountain road is not very clear, but it is difficult to overthrow Weng Jiankui. Along the way, which stone is easy to walk, where you may meet monkeys, he is familiar with it. Management and protection is one of the most direct and effective ways to protect the ecology of national parks, and the main content of work is to combat ecological damage, carry out ecological protection education and forest fire prevention.

Passing by an ordinary looking tree, Weng Jiankui stopped to take a photo and recorded, "This is the bell calyx, which was originally a national first-class protected plant, and now there are more, and the protection level has been reduced to the second level." When introducing these, Weng Jiankui changed his initial shyness and looked quite proud.

Thanks to the front-line ecological management and protection, the forest coverage rate of Wuyishan National Park has been stable at 96.72% for a long time, the indicators of surface water and atmosphere have reached the national first-level standard, and the negative oxygen ion concentration is at a "very fresh" level all year round, and in 2021, the national park has also newly discovered 8 species such as Wuyi forest frog and Wuyi mountain to yelan.

Weng Jiankui has been a steward for 7 years, and in 7 years, he feels that the most obvious change is the workload. At the beginning of the national park pilot, the task of cracking down on the destruction of the ecological environment was very heavy, and it was common for villagers not to understand it. Nowadays, with the dividends brought by ecological development, the concept of protection has become more and more popular, and the situation of deforestation and tea cultivation is almost gone, and many villagers have also taken the initiative to join the ranks of patrolling mountains and forest protection.

Tired of walking in the mountains, Weng Jiankui took out the rice cake prepared by his family and took two bites. "How deep the forest is, how deep the love is." Weng Jiankui said that guarding this mountain forest benefits the people in the mountain, as well as the family and himself, "The forest ranger makes me feel very honorable." ”

Green industry, bringing a happy life

The sun is tilting westward, and in the courtyard of a small farm family in Tongmu Village, Xingcun Town, Wuyishan City, the aroma of food wafts out.

Villager Li Wansong's house, brand new red lanterns hanging in front of the door. Smoked fish, oil balls, rice cakes... Meals were served steaming hot. Three generations of grandchildren sat around and ate a reunion dinner.

Wuyishan is the birthplace of black tea and oolong tea, and the tea industry is one of the pillar industries in the local area. Located in the hinterland of the National Park Ecological Reserve, Tongmu Village is rich in black tea.

After the pilot project of Wuyishan National Park was launched, the concept of "protection first, sharing by all people, and inheritance from generation to generation" was determined, and it was forbidden to destroy forests to grow tea, and ecological restoration was carried out. At first, some villagers in Tongmu Village did not understand that the reclamation of tea mountains and the destruction of forests to grow tea still occurred.

How to make the tea industry here sustainable and benefit the local people under the premise of giving priority to protection? In recent years, wuyishan national park, while relying on the law enforcement detachment to carry out publicity and education and crack down on illegal tea cultivation, has actively explored the construction of ecological tea gardens with the "tea-forest" and "tea-grass" models to guide tea farmers to transform the mode of industrial development.

Every spring, the tea mountain in Kirigi Village is bustling with activity. Guests from out of town came to watch the spring tea grow on the spot. Leading the guests to their own tea mountain for a walk, Li Wansong introduced: his tea plant does not use herbicides and does not fertilize! "The first return customer becomes the return customer." In recent years, although tea production has not increased. However, in the way of ecological planting, the quality of tea is better, the unit price has also gone up, and the pure natural wild tea in the village has sold for more than 1,000 yuan. Li Wansong said.

On weekdays, tea farmers love to make tea. A few years ago, when everyone exchanged, they found that many tea greens were sold at high prices, and deciduous trees were planted around them. Li Wansong's Sangang villagers' group is also planning to get hundreds of deciduous saplings. Li Wansong plans to join in planting trees to enhance the taste of tea leaves.

While eating, Li Wansong's mobile phone rang. Putting down the phone, he brought good news: "Old customers in Beijing, this time to 200 pounds!" "In the small courtyard of the farmhouse, the laughter is loud.
