At the national launch ceremony of the 2024 Jinteng Award, Mr. Shuhei Aoyama discussed the design concept of urban living space with the theme of "Healthy Life, Healthy City". He accurately depicts the intimate relationship between people, architecture, cities and nature, explores the essence of space through a compassionate design philosophy, and illustrates how designers can embrace and lead change from diverse perspectives.
Based on his ten years of experience in Beijing's hutongs, Mr. Shuhei Aoyama put forward the thought-provoking view that "50% of families live alone". He believes that the concept of "home" should transcend the traditional boundaries of physical space, and that architecture is a container for life, memory and emotion, as well as a stage for sensory experience.
With the change of the times, the living mode of life has jumped from the family version 1.0 to the 3.0 version, from the original family of five or six to a family of three or four, and it tends to be an "individual era" of living, working, consuming and enjoying alone. The building will gradually evolve from a large mansion to a small space suitable for living alone, and the living style of "public space" and "shared mode" will become more and more prominent.
