Protests by Canadian truck drivers spread to many countries

Protests by Canadian truck drivers against mandatory vaccination orders are still ongoing and have spread to New Zealand, Australia and other places.

Recently, in Ottawa, the capital of Canada, truck drivers have gathered in large numbers, which has greatly affected the normal life of locals and paralyzed the city. The city has recently declared a state of emergency. At one point, the anti-vaccination convoy demonstrations also spread to major cities such as Toronto, Vancouver and Quebec City.

The Ambassador Bridge, an important link to the United States and Canada, near the city of Detroit, was blocked by protesters with trucks. Another land clearance artery, the Kutz area on the border with Alberta, Canada, was also blocked by a large number of trucks and was once closed in both directions.

Similar protests erupted in Wellington, New Zealand, and Canberra, Australia. In the United States, truck drivers are also seeking to join the protests, with thousands of people promising on social media that they will hold a demonstration in Washington, D.C. next month.
