The four people trapped at the scene were two adult women and two children, and the water level of the trapped people was shallow and turbulent, and the rescue boat could not berth. Seeing that the water level is still rising, the rescue work cannot be delayed, the police and firefighters at the scene urgently discussed, decided to pull a lifeline on the river surface between the shore and the place where the masses were trapped, and at the same time, the rescuers escorted the trapped people one by one to rescue the trapped people.

After nearly 1 hour of rescue, the 4 trapped people finally successfully rescued and landed, and all the personnel were safe, and at this time, the "isolated island" in the river where the personnel were trapped had almost been submerged by the river. It is understood that at about 16:00 on the same day, several people came to play by the Jialing River in Beibei, and for a while they walked to the shallow beach in the river, and they did not want to suddenly encounter the rise of the river and could not go ashore, fortunately, the police and fire personnel rescued in time.
