Li Guofu has been running a snow farm in Huancheng Township for five years. Talking about why he would build a ski resort in the countryside, Li Guofu told reporters the story of his relationship with ice and snow: "I have two children at home, and I found that the children always looked down and played with their mobile phones, so they thought about letting them go outdoors to exercise. One year out on a trip, the child stumbled upon skiing, and his love for skiing has never stopped. Slowly I came up with an idea, there are slopes and ice and snow in front of our house, guarding the ready-made snow slopes, how can we waste it? ”

In recent years, the scale of the snow resort operated by Li Guofu has become larger and larger, the conditions are getting better and better, and the ski resort has gained a certain reputation around Yushu City. After entering the snow season, the weekday passenger flow is basically maintained at about 200 people, and when it comes to holidays, the passenger flow will be higher. In 2020, the ski resort operated by Li Guofu was rated as a 2A-level rural tourism business unit.
Before the Spring Festival, the ski resort operated by Li Guofu also hosted the Winter Games in the countryside of Yushu City, and the villagers of several surrounding villages put on snow suits and stepped on snowboards.
"I didn't expect that our small township, far away from the big city, could also start the Winter Games." Now the atmosphere of the Winter Olympics is particularly strong, there are more tourists, and the winter life of farmers has also changed. Wang Fengjun, a villager in Fu'an Village, Huancheng Township, Yushu City, said.
"In the early years, this was the time of 'cat winter', in the words of local farmers, idle winter month, noisy new month, mile mile la la February and March. Now it is not the same, the Winter Olympic Wind blows to the countryside, farmers not only participate in the boom of enjoying ice and snow, but also have a livelihood in winter. Wei Kun, secretary of the Party Committee of Huancheng Township in Yushu City, said.
It is understood that there are more than 30 employees in the snow field operated by Li Guofu, all of whom are farmers from surrounding villages, and Li Zhongshan, a villager in Fu'an Village in Huancheng Township, Yushu City, is one of them.
"In the past, winter could only be 'cat winter', now working in the snow field, a month income of more than 3,000 yuan, a winter down to say less than 10,000 yuan income, the days are full, the wallet is also bulging." Li Zhongshan said.
