Today (10th) afternoon, at the Chaohui Community Party and Mass Service Center in Chongchuan District, Jing Qirun, a veteran of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, told a group of middle school students about his unforgettable experience on the Korean battlefield.

Jing Qirun, 90 years old this year, responded to the call of the state in 1951 and entered the Korean War. Elder Jing's narration aroused everyone's strong patriotism and national pride.

It has been learned that there are currently 96 retired cadres in the Municipal Management service center for veteran cadres, of whom 37 veterans have participated in the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the War of Liberation, and the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, with an average age of 92 years old.
