In the past year since the project was signed and settled in Rugao, the main project is under construction and is expected to be completed and put into use at the end of this year.

At the end of 2020, the high-performance permanent magnet project of Zhenghai Magnetic Material Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 5 billion yuan, was signed and settled in Rugao. At the project site, the reporter saw that the workers were carrying out construction work in full swing. Song Kan, the person in charge of the site, told reporters that there are 4 buildings in the base that are about to be completed and capped, and other buildings are also under orderly construction.

The reporter learned that Zhenghai Magnetic Materials Rugao Base is mainly responsible for the research and development and production of high-performance permanent magnet projects, and the main product NdFeB can be widely used in electronic products, new energy vehicles, wind power generation, industrial automation and other aspects. As a leading enterprise in the domestic high-performance NdFeB permanent magnet material industry, Zhenghai Magnetics chose to establish a base in Rugao, which is precisely the city's superior geographical location and the broad market prospects of new materials in the Yangtze River Delta region.

After the base is completed and put into operation, it is expected that the annual output value will reach 3.8 billion yuan and the annual tax revenue will not be less than 200 million yuan, which will provide more powerful support for the development of the real economy in our city and accumulate strong momentum for the high-quality construction of the Nantong cross-river integration development model area in Rugao.
