Static experience: it's really "rampage"
Many people in the decision to buy which car, the appearance will probably be the first element, if you do not even like the appearance, then no matter how high the cost performance, no one will pay. The first time I saw Haval Red Rabbit was at last year's Shanghai Auto Show. At that time, it used a "cooling gray" color scheme, with lights prepared for the surprise on the spot, which was cool from any angle. And this time we borrowed the "Storm Blue", silver waterfall type middle net with black decoration in the details, almost let me think that this is another car.
In terms of size, the length, width and height of the Haval Red Rabbit are 4470/1898/1625mm, the wheelbase is 2700mm, the standard compact SUV body, compared to our "X", the Red Rabbit's car length is 95mm, the wheelbase is shorter than 80mm, which is understandable, but if you say that this is a disadvantage, I have to argue, because 95mm is about the length of a finger.
The through-type taillights of the red rabbit tail are one of my favorite designs, even the middle part supports lighting, and with the HAVAL word below, the whole vehicle is highly recognizable. As a "tide brand" SUV specially designed for young people, a small tail wing is extended at the end of the roof of the Red Rabbit, which adds points to its sporty style.
Interior design: Rich configuration is a strong point
Red Rabbit's interior design style is very similar to Haval's first love, a large-size floating medium screen with green line decoration, and opening the car door makes you want to sit in it. And when you actually sit in, you will find a lot of designers' careful thinking. For example, the top of the center console is basically wrapped in soft materials, and it also has a fine texture. At the same time, the new electronic gear bar is also very comfortable to hold, and it can switch gears with a light push. It is worth mentioning that there is also a similar star-like decoration above the barrier, so that you do not perceive a hint of cheapness.
The front seats of the test drive are made of fur, and the interior is filled with thicker padding, which will give the waist good support when sitting on it. However, the body feel of the headrest is not so comfortable, although the use of imitation leather material, but because the padding is hard, and the range of adjustment is not large, for the neck support is limited, long driving may be some discomfort.

Storage space display
In terms of storage space, there are many small mysteries reserved in the Red Rabbit car, such as the bill holder in the front row, the hollowing under the center console, and the storage compartment under the rear exhaust air outlet, which are not common in the same class. In addition, the front cup holder of this car is also equipped with a limit device, which is still more thoughtful. Unfortunately, due to the size of the body, the space of many storage compartments is not large, such as the glove box and the armrest box can only barely put down four water bottles, and the reserved depth is not enough, and the overall storage capacity does not stand out much.

Next is the trunk space display, we did not query the calibration volume on the configuration table of this car, but visually, it is no problem to put down a few suitcases. In addition, after the second row of seats is receded, the storage capacity of the Red Rabbit trunk can be further expanded. However, there is a point to complain about, although this is a top-equipped model, but the trunk still needs to be manually opened, and the tailgate cover is heavier, and the girl with little strength may have some difficulty in opening.
Dynamic experience
Next up is the dynamic test drive of the Haval Red Rabbit. According to the convention, or first introduce the powertrain of this car, we got the test drive this time is the top model of Haval Red Rabbit - 1.5T Platinum Rabbit, which is equipped with a 1.5T turbocharged four-cylinder engine, the maximum power is 184 horsepower, the peak torque is 270 Nm, and the parameters are very eye-catching. In terms of transmission, it is matched by a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission, and the official acceleration time of 0-100km/h is 7.7 seconds, which is much stronger than the 1.5T engine of "X".
When I first got this test drive, its first feeling to the author was that the power reserve was sufficient, the low section acceleration came quickly, as for the middle and rear sections, although it was not strong, but the daily opening could not be faulted, and the acceleration in the middle of the way would not have a significant sense of channeling. In addition, when testing the closed section, we also tried the situation of one foot on the throttle to the end, because the time of the turbo intervention of this car was slightly lower than that of the same class, so the power was slightly delayed.
Haval provides 4 driving modes for this red rabbit, except for the snow mode is not experienced, the driving texture of the other three modes is not much different, of which the logic of the sport mode is nothing more than to make the engine more responsive to the electronically controlled throttle, and the driving will be more heeled; and the standard mode seems to be more suitable for use in congested sections, and occasionally need to overtake the car can also be handy.
In the chassis section, Red Rabbit uses a separate suspension combination of front McPherson + rear multi-link, which is common in SUV of the same class. In terms of post-adjustment, the setting of Haval Red Rabbit will be a little more homely, in the face of bumpy road sections, the filter effect of this suspension system is not bad, can resolve the small bumps on the road surface, but in the face of large ditches, it is recommended that you still reduce the speed of the car, don't ask me why I know.
As for the steering part, Haval Chitu has a light feel and a certain amount of vanity in the pointing, which is actually similar to another domestic SUV we experienced not long ago, they are actually the standard settings of family cars. In addition, if the car is faster when turning, the body will have a certain tilt, but combined with the price, everyone should not be overly demanding for athletic performance.
Finally, we also tested the car's own "catapult mode", which activates by pressing the brakes while pressing the accelerator, at which point the engine speed increases. When the speed reaches 2000 rpm, release the brakes and the vehicle will "catapult" out in an instant, which is very interesting. Of course, the so-called "catapult start" is nothing more than a driving skill, if the operation is improper, it may also cause loss to the gearbox, but fortunately, the Great Wall's 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox is more durable, and there is no overheating protection after several consecutive attempts, interested friends can actually go to the 4S shop to test drive the experience, maybe it can really bring you the happiness you want.

Despite the name of the red rabbit, the actual positioning of the haval red rabbit is still a home SUV, and the young appearance and rich interior configuration are its biggest plus, and it is absolutely no problem to buy a commute to work. And if you expect it to take you to experience speed and passion, it is not necessary, after all, no matter how fast the red rabbit horse is, it also has to eat grass.
