With the opening of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games, the mascot "ice pier" has become the "top stream" of the Winter Olympic Games, which can be described as "a pier is difficult to find", and the citizens of Guangyuan who love and cannot love have shown their magic and have made their own "ice piers", enjoying the fun of the Winter Olympics at the same time, but also cheering for Chinese athletes.

A pair of scissors, two sheets of tissue paper, fingers inadvertently danced, cut out a pair of cute and loving "ice piers" and "snow melting"... On February 10, 72-year-old Luo Liping created a paper-cut version of the mascot "Ice Pier" and "Snow Rongrong", which vividly linked the paper-cutting technique with the Winter Olympics.

Wang Xuemei, a teacher from Lizhou District Garden Primary School, is a big fan of the Winter Olympics. "When I first saw the 'ice pier', I loved it very much, but I couldn't grab it on the official website, so I thought of making a 'ice pier' with my family." On February 9, Wang Xuemei and her family came to Maliu Township, Zengjia Mountain, Chaotian District, and spent about 2 hours to complete the production of the snowman version of "Ice Pier" from moving snow, building snow, building molds to coloring.

"Since the live broadcast of the Beijing Winter Olympics, I have watched it every day, proud of myself for being Chinese, and now I applaud the Winter Olympics in my own way, hoping that athletes will achieve better results again, and China will cheer!" Wang Xuemei said.

Picture why Jinyang created the clay version of "ice pier"

8-year-old He Jinyang believes that making an "ice pier" by yourself has a lot more fun and significance than buying the finished product. Clay is kneaded and shaped in his hands, and with the cooperation of tools such as mud presses and ball sticks, a cute panda has begun to take shape. Finally, fill in your favorite color with a paintbrush, and then make a transparent coat with drip glue, and a complete "ice pier" will be baked.

"Or I made it myself cute. Mom you see, am I 'God restored'? He Jinyang took out the clay version of the "ice pier" that he had made for more than an hour and proudly showed it to his mother.

After seeing her child's work, He Jinyang's mother couldn't help but sigh: "The 'ice pier' represents strength, fraternity, beauty, and unity, and conveys China's enthusiasm and warmth to the world.
