On February 10, Beijing time, the Figure Skating Men's Singles Free Skating at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics was successfully concluded. China's Jin Boyang ranked 9th with a total score of 270.43 points, and Japan's Yu Yusuke ranked 4th with a total score of 283.21 points. American Chen Wei won the gold medal with an absolute advantage of 218.63 points, Japan's Yumasa Key mountain silver medal and Uno Masamo bronze medal.

The defending champion of Group 3, Japan's Yusuke Habu, who made his fifth appearance, failed in the first jump in 4A (Axel's four-way jump) and fell to the ground while doing this jump. The follow-up action was done relatively well, and finally scored 188.06 points, with a total score of 283.21.

4A is the only one of the six known jumping basic jumping moves in figure skating that has not been conquered by any player in the competition. In Yusheng's own words, the difficulty is high in "like a long jumper, jumping 6 meters after taking off and turning four and a half laps in the process." This is also the first time that the 4A has appeared in the Winter Olympic Games.
